:tab: Esther was a unpleasant surprise for their father, he had been expecting one child just not the second one. He would've been happy if they both would have been boys, but that would be hoping for too much. Esther grew up knowing that she was not wanted by their father, in fact until their mother died she spent most of her time with her. Esther was very close to her mother, she would read stories to her and sing to her. Their mother had been very sickly for most of their lives, so she tried to raise her daughter from her sickbed.
Then one day she just couldn't hold out anymore, when they were about six their mother died. Their father didn't care much, after all he had bigger fish to fry. Esther had been devastated by the loss, that's probably when she changed the most. Her brother had a perfect and happy life, he got the attention from their father that Esther wished she could've had. Instead she was very lonely, she spent most of her time alone or spending time with her childhood friend. She tried to make the best out of what was going on, but she started to get really angry as she grew up.
Akira had started off being very protective of his sister, not wanting anybody he didn't approve of to speak with her or protecting her from bullies. That all changed, the more they grew up the more he became like their father and she watched as he became a cruel vampire. Esther had a kind way about her, she like to help people and she was really smart. She started to think about becoming a scientist when a friend suggested that she give it a try, thinking about helping other people get well became her goal.
When she told her brother about this, he was absolutely furious and in fact would not allow her to leave. They had had a huge fight, causing her to try to get as far away as she could from her brother. Because of her brother she became a rather vulnerable girl, especially after dealing with her brother she can be convinced of a lot of stuff. She tries to smile whenever she's out in public, always holding a book because she is constantly studying. She was able to graduate most of her classes, now becoming a scientist and training.
She has a sexual relationship with Micah, it mostly started because she had such impulse behavior and after that she just would get caught up in the moment. She does not think her heart is in it, but sometimes she finds herself conflicted. She will often give Micah information if he wants it, because after all Akira has caused her nothing but pain since their childhood.
she is caught up making a drug that Akira requires, he is forcing Esther to do it because she is so smart and has the ability to get the items they need for the drug. She is not doing it willingly, mainly because she has too pure of a heart and has no desire to hurt people.
