Novice Returning to RP after a long hiatus

Hello everyone!

I'm Dirge, new to the site but not to RP. I used to RP frequently throughout my teens and into my early twenties, but stopped due to life circumstances. I have recently decided to get back into writing however, as I have greatly missed it, and decided what better way than to get back into RP! (I have been journaling the last couple of months, but it's not the same as fiction writing, y'know?) I am almost certainly going to be a bit rusty, so I hope whoever decides to RP with me is able to give me a bit of grace before I get back into the groove of things.

I usually RP'd fantasy and sci-fi, mostly original settings but with the occasional fandom setting (mostly TTRPGs - D&D and Shadowrun). So that's likely to be my focus coming back into the scene.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
