Hi there I'm Apocalypsis, I've been roleplaying for about a decade and am looking to get back into things after a somewhat forced pause. I try to be a diverse writer but am most fond of fantasy and supernatural themes, whether they be more historical, present-day, or even futuristic. I tend to write in the 3rd person but if you prefer 1st person I'm more than willing to give it a try as I'm always interested in diversifying. I should be active every day and while I would love roleplays with multiple replies a day I understand that isn't always possible and am perfectly willing to wait. I am typically a paragraph to multi-paragraph writer especially when the story really gets going, I'm not too fussy on my partners' reply length as long as there is something to work with every time or it risks getting boring for both parties. I write both male and female characters and at this time I don't think I have a preference it all just depends on the plot. As for nsfw themes I'm fine with violence, it's to be expected in a lot of scenarios, but I'm not a huge fan of smut so would prefer to steer clear of it unless we've properly discussed it all beforehand
I have a couple of plots in mind, as well as some basic themes, but I'm always up to changing things to suit a partner so if there's something that interests you but you would do it differently feel free to bring it up. I'm currently craving some urban-fantasy supernatural investigation type roleplay, along the broad lines of The Dresden Files. Or post-apocalyptic what do we do now along the broad lines of Dominion.
Basic ideas:
- A heaven/hell apocalypse or post-apocalypse scenario either trying to stop it or trying to survive and balance things out after it.
- A medieval fantasy assassin or thief setting
- Modern-day urban-fantasy
- Urban-fantasy mob setting, time period anywhere in the last hundred years or so
-Sci-fi/futuristic rebellion
Plots:
-Modern-day (or at least fairly recent setting) my character a magic-user works as a hunter/slayer in an organisation trying to keep the peace between supernatural creatures and the human world that doesn't know they exist. They have somewhat of a black mark against them because of their family history and that tends to cause them issues of all kinds. Darker forces than are usually found on earth begin to show up and it becomes clear that someone or something has decided to change the status quo for the worse.
-Post-Apocalyptic (rapture kind of deal) my character is a fallen angel who had had enough of all the drama before the apocalypse had even begun and would really have liked to just be left out of the whole deal. Since they don't agree with either side and don't particularly want to end up dead, they've somehow found themselves helping humanity against the forces of both heaven and hell. With the creation of 'safe zones' what's left of humanity is trying to get on with life but the powers that be are far from happy.
-Apocalypse, the angels of heaven and hell have finally decided it's time to settle their scores once and for all. Their children, the nephilim some of whom have been living amongst humanity for centuries are not on board with this plan. Suddenly the children of both sides a pushing aside their differences to make sure they still have the freedom to exist as they choose.
Who/what your character is and how they fit into the story is completely up to you and I'm happy to give more ideas for these settings.
