Hi! I'm new here but let's give this a go...
I'm Nadya, I've been roleplaying for about 7 years, I'm 20 (as of.. 4 days ago), I'm from Australia, and I'm hoping to find a new roleplay partner!
Text Style
I'm relatively literate, and I usually write around 3-5 paragraphs per reply, though this can fluctuate a lot depending on scene content!
I prefer third person but I don't have any preference with tense. I'll do whatever you like more. Improper grammar and textspeak really takes me out of it, and I prefer good spelling, it's okay if you slip up though.
I don't use faceclaims for my characters at all, I find them pretty creepy. I like either written descriptions, or drawing/commissioning art of my own characters.
My Partner (that's you!)
I'd ideally like someone who:
Primarily M/M romance, long term, and heavily character-driven.
I want the RP to begin before our characters are together. I want to actually play through the attraction, pining, friendship/rivalry/whatever-we-decide, and the development of their relationship rather than starting with them effectively already dating.
I'd like us both to play NPCs and build a world that actually feels populated. Not as big as full on secondary characters, but the world should feel bigger than just two.
Romance is important, but I want real plot alongside it, PLEASE. Build a whole-ass world with me!
Settings / Genres
Modern:
contemporary life, university, crime, underground fighting, musicians, dysfunctional twenty-somethings, road trips, small towns, etc.
Historical:
wartime, 19th/20th century, medieval-inspired, cowboys/Western, specific periods, etc.
Fantasy:
low fantasy, high fantasy, mercenaries, royalty, political intrigue, adventure, etc.
Supernatural:
vampires, werewolves, ghosts, immortality, reincarnation, monsters, etc.
Darker:
crime, addiction, poverty, violence, survival, apocalypse, psychological drama, dead dove, etc.
Romance & Dynamics
I generally prefer a slow burn or medium. Whatever feels natural, honestly.
I like messy, realistic, and sometimes unhealthy relationships. Toxic, anyone? But also fluffy ones too!
I'm happy to potentially explore break-ups, arguments, jealousy, misunderstandings, periods of separation, reconciliation, established relationships, domesticity, marriage, etc.
Characters
I exclusively make new characters for RP, and would prefer you do the same. I don't like it when my partner's characters are used elsewhere.
Preferred character ages: 20-30
I'm happy with trans characters.
I don't love large age gaps but around 5-8 years is fine.
I LOVE morally grey or outright shitty people as characters.
Character things I don't particularly enjoy:
Fetishisations or heavy stereotypes. I can explain more what I mean by this if you'd like.
And PLEASE feel free to approach me with something that isn't listed. My ideas are just spaghetti strands thrown at the wall, and I would really like hearing your ideas too.
Plotting & OOC
I prefer moderate plotting. Generally, major story beats should be discussed first, but other stuff can be discovered as it goes.
I really want plotting to be collaborative.
I'm very chatty OOC. I'd love to talk about our characters outside of the actual RP.
Activity / Replies
My activity is relatively high
On average, expect a reply daily to every few days.
Sometimes I get busy and can't keep up, but I will let you know in advance.
I don't mind waiting for replies, but please let me know if you're gonna go silent (including OOC) for longer than 3 days.
When it comes to OOC, I'm much faster at responding LOL..
Mature / Dark Content
I'm comfortable with mature themes and with explicit NSFW content.
For sexual content, I'm okay with explicit writing or fade-to-black
I'm interested in potentially exploring darker subjects such as violence, addiction, mental illness, toxic relationships, crime, death, grief, self-destructive behaviour, etc.
I'm happy to discuss specific boundaries privately before we begin. Please don't assume that being comfortable with one dark subject automatically means I'm comfortable with everything!
Other boundaries:
No godmodding. Killing/injuring one of my characters must be talked about with me first, as well as major permanent changes for EITHER of our characters.
Plot Ideas / Cravings
01 - Mercenary and Contract
Fantasy • forced proximity • enemies to allies to lovers
Character A is hired to capture or kill Character B, and he succeeds remarkably easily, only then he discovers the contract was based on a lie. Now A has to deal with a furious captive, the people who hired him are looking for both of them, and B absolutely does not believe A's sudden claim that he's changed his mind. So they have to travel together while being hunted.
We can tweak and edit this as much as we'd like! B might be a prince needing escorting (or assassinating...), they might be familiar with one another from years ago, the world might be really dangerous, or maybe the contract wasn't fake at all, and A just couldn't bring himself to kill B.
Roles: I'd prefer to play A
Craving level: ★★★★★
02 - The Vampire's Thrall
Supernatural]
Character A is a vampire who has been alone for decades, so he looks into getting himself a thrall. He falls pretty hard for the guy he ends up taking, but Character B is not a fan.
Roles: I'd rather be B
Craving level: ★★★
I'm also completely happy to make something from scratch together! If you've been sitting on an M/M plot you've desperately wanted to use, please pitch it to me. I have many more ideas to add which I will do tomorrow because it's getting late over here.
