Lord of all things waifuable
Hello and welcome to those clicking on this thread! I guess first thing is to know a bit about myself, I'm a 26 year old male living in the US (EST if people want to know timezones). I have a gaggle of nerdy hobbies that I like to do; Dungeons and Dragons and other Table Top RPGs, gaming, streaming, and, of course, writing roleplay! I've been doing RP for a while now, pretty much when I started table top stuff so about a decade now, if only time spent meant talent I'm here to hopefully up my game again and just get writing some more!
I guess I'm semi-lit with what I've seen around the site so I usually do a couple of paragraphs when I post and I prefer something to bounce off of with my partner, but when a dialogue heavy scene comes up I don't mind a small amount to be traded back and forth. I can write in either the first or third person, now that I think about it I don't know if I have a preference. I, as a cis male, am most comfortable in taking the male position, dominant one or not is up to the story, I'm all for aggressive/dominant female characters as well!
I'm mostly used to fantasy settings and ideas but have also been wanting to delve into other topics like modern, sci-fi still scares me tbh. I'm not used to ERP at all but am open to explore that possibility in the roleplays but only if equal to more sappy/slow burn romance is there as well! I read way too much shoujo/romance manga to not write about that.
When it comes to hard no's it's a small list:

When it comes to hard no's it's a small list:
- No toilet stuff
- No torture/active dismemberment stuff
- No bestiality
- No on the general bad RP things (godmodding/mary sues/etc)
Fandoms:
- Sword art online: No matter how much hate the anime/light novels get I still love the idea and place it's set in. I would prefer OC x OC but can do stuff with the main cast if desired!
- Fire Emblem: Pretty much any setting of the games I would be fine with, I'm more familiar with the worlds of Awakening and the games after that but have dabbled in the other game worlds as well. I would also prefer OC x OC just because it's more fun that way, but like the SAO one I can do main cast characters as well.
- Vampire the Masquerade: I've been trying to submerse myself recently in the mythos of VtM and I'm loving it so if you're interested in the World of Darkness vampire setting then let me know!
- Magic on the run: The liberal use of arcane magic has destroyed countless kingdoms and has shifted the power balance too much in the world in the last few centuries. Now, any use of magic without the mage being under control of the king is an offense the mage will pay with their head. Regular patrols of mage hunters go about the realms looking for those born with this 'gift' to be put in servitude of the crown or be neutralized. Either character A or B is the mage and the other is a mage hunter, maybe the hunter finds the practice too evil, maybe it's someone they've known in the past and have to deal with their friend turned an arcane horror....Any ideas please let me know!
- Heroes aren't born: This is some idea I had for a reverse isekai concept. For those that don't know, isekai is a genre of manga/anime where the character is reborn in some other world in some form generally they are brought into this new world full of special powers/abilities, but what if the person brought in was...just an average joe/jane?. This would be Character A is down on their luck, rent was due 2 days ago, barely any food left in the fridge, and they were just fired from their job. Wondering what's going to happen to themselves tomorrow, wishing they didn't live this life they fall asleep; only to wake up in a sprawling field looking out over rolling fields of a fantastic world, with a strange symbol burned into their palm. They find their way to the closest town, unable to understand what they are saying, generally confused until character B sees the mark on their hand. An ancient prophecy once told of this and they rush them to their new destiny, whether A wants it or not....that's yet to be seen.
- Permanent mistake...for now: Character A is the son/daughter of a huge company living the life and in the shadow of their father for a company they have to take over, character B is trying to stay above the poverty line just getting by with what they can. They both wind up at the same bar, after a crazy night they wake up in the same bed, beautiful rings on their fingers....don't tell me we...? The father of character A will not allow an annulment at this time as they are waiting for a large business deal to finish and can't have his eldest seen in such a state, something like this can ruin their PR. Now A and B just have to learn to live with each other, but sometimes opposites attract, right?
- Vampire x Human
- Rogue/Thief x Guardswoman
