Hello Inner Sanctum writers, darlings, and fellow fantasy enthusiasts

Welcome to my RP Thread​

You can call me Rois, I've been in this business for more than eight years. Even longer since I've always written for my own pleasure, I'm sure I have novels stashed away somewhere in a draw from my teenage years. It's always been a form of escapism for me and always will be.

I'm in my twenties, a British gal and currently training/taking night classes for the army.

Besides sports, most of my hobbies include writing small novels for my pleasure or roleplaying. I adore fantasy high or low nothing is outside the realm of my tastes, anything with dragons I will do always.

Also, I enjoy others: Romance, Action, Sci-fi, Steampunk, Supernatural, western, Adventure, and Mystery. I am open to pretty much anything fantasy as I adore the genre, and mix it up with other categories to create something unique. Give me dragons and arcane mages any day or a good urban fantasy world with complex racial divides and I'm sold!

I try and respond a few times a week unless I'm busy one, or two is my ideal.


My Expectations

I'm a simple gal when it comes down to it (These go for me as well)

• A minimum of 350+ words per post, I would like for someone to match my length which typically is 2+ paragraphs but it's not necessary and heavily scene dependent!
• Please make sure to check grammar and spelling. I'm not a grammar nazi who overly analyses posts but a little proofreading here and there never hurt
• Compromising and communicating ideas. If something doesn't work, let me know, I'll change it to accommodate us both
• Be willing to push the story forward, so the roleplay develops naturally from both writer's posts
• Story-driven RP's, if you are looking for smut only, then I am unfortunately not the girl for you. I enjoy smut but not as the main focus

ROMANCE

Wild At Heart:

A divorced mother befriends her daughter's once childhood friend, after encountering her at the grocery store 20 years later. The woman returned to attend her father's funeral after he was found drunk and lodged in a tree after veering off the road resulting in a vegetated state at the hospital. Unknown to the woman, she had fallen in love with her all those years ago. Once seeing her again the mere sight of her reignited old feelings, she thought had been long forgotten during her time in Paris as a freelance photographer. The photographer looking to settle down decided to retain her father's business, a small garage repairing cars but seeking to expand which required expert knowledge. But, with little expertise in vehicle repairs or modifications, she began to study under her father's current mechanic. After a week of settling in, the freelancer decides it's time to pursue her old feelings and win the woman's heart.

What I am Looking for: Someone to play the Mother

Cross Creek

After the late death of their spouse, a widow inherits a sizable ranch and with it land. With little staff to help maintain the ranch and cattle, they are forced to maintain the ranch single-handedly. And, after the funeral costs and medical bills paid from their husband/wife's passing, they are left with little options financially. During a short trip to town, their truck breaks down. A woman on the back of an old Harley offers assistance and helps get the truck back on the road after calling her grandfather to send a mechanic out. Free of charge. The pair click almost instantly, but the woman is only passing through and they never see each other again until a few weeks later. The wanderer is in town and spots the rancher loading supplies, she heard from her grandfather the rancher had issues with needing staff on their ranch and offered free labor while she was in town. Unknown to her she would soon fall in love with the rancher.

What I am Looking for: Anyone to play the Ranch Owner

FANTASY

Mohr Dahn:

Mohr Dahn an island covered in a red forest where elven folk call home, unclaimed by man for hundreds of years. An empire began to expand its territory and found the native grounds of the unique island across the ocean that belong to a people of Sun Elves, a diverse culture, and 40 different elven tribes spread across the land. Upon arriving at their shores, humans discovered a rare and precious metal the natives called starlight, in their tongue Jahasul. It is a bright metal, of greenish aura, seemingly infused with the natural magic of the Sun Elves, a dark-skinned race, that favors white or bluish tattoos is one of the shortest as they hide amongst the trees and build under the roots. The magi of the human empire found its properties were powerful when created into weapons and armor, making it indestructible, sharp enough to carve through a diamond, and a unique effect when wielded by one of innate magical prowess. It was discovered to affect the soil, crops would grow three times the rate and would not spoil for months, the taste also enhanced. The theories it is the reason behind the elf's long life. The emperor did not seek diplomacy, only war. In the coming days, the slaughter was endless as a once-peaceful people soon were turned into a warring nation of tribes to protect their land.

What I am looking for: Someone to play either an Elven Warrior or Healer - One of the Humans (Magi or Scout, Noble/Commoner or Soldier) Any, as I will play the opposite faction character a sort of forbidden romance

People of Thrane:

Thrane, an island of beauty and agriculture, is now a conquered people over one-hundred years ago, now seeking their independence, pushing back against the oppressive rule of their king. A ruler from across the sea, with an army capable of swallowing the island whole with only bodies and metal. The lords begin secretly gathering men and women to fight, they are comprised of farmers, mercenaries, and simple commoners that which for a better life. Nobility buys the bodies of mercenaries to cross the ocean and join their cause, and free some of their people who are enslaved to the greatest enemy the islanders have ever seen. A man/woman within the rebellion had become a name of the lips of many as a symbol of defiance, without direct support from the lords a fortress taken, and ships burned at sea, displaying the heads of their enemies as they sail ghost ships to their shores.

What I am looking for: Someone to take on the role of the leader of the rebellion, or a warrior


SCI FI

Bismarck:

A new captain of a recently acquired ship looked to expand their crew from themselves and the android included with the purchase of the ship. An addition was well-received when the seller, gave the new unit away for free. The ship was a Javelin Class, large enough to hold up to ten individuals, half would be for the crew: engineer, co-pilot, deckhand, machine operator, and medic. Once the recruits were aboard, the ship went through standard protocol before its first flight. However, the captain was contacted by strange individuals to seek passage to a terraformed world in the Aurion Quadrant. After the 19th merger-treaty for the Agrri species, highly intelligent beings bought worlds and terraformed them to be sold off as leisure resorts. The new captain agreed to a sizable sum of credits and started their first voyage through the stars. But strange things begin to happen aboard the ship...

What I am looking for: Either the Captain or a crew member

Merc:

The trade corporation has employed a group of mercenaries to collect a package from an off-world colony. A criminal that disrupted trade, and assassinated important republic officials besides many servicemen and women. As a result, the capital was lost, as the cargo was discarded in an Icy abyss. The corporation wishes to know the location of their missing cargo and hired the mercenaries to gather information, pinpointing the packages and returning the criminal into the trade corporations' hands for further assessment. The mercenaries transported the criminal to the frozen planet called M8-Sect Null, under no jurisdiction of the government they could do as they pleased with the criminal.

What I am looking for: Someone to play the criminal of any race so long as they are a humanoid (I will be one of the mercenaries)

A Woman and Her Android

A thief and a liar, running from the police after a failed bank robbery, the young woman crashes her car and falls through a crack in the canyon floor, her fall slowed by an unusual barrier where she unknowingly activated the alien technology underneath. What she discovers deep in the earth is a hidden alien shuttle, cloaked despite being inactive all those years. As she neared closer, once awakened from her concussion, the door opened and she discovered the pilot dead. But the cargo of a hanging and damaged AI Android remained inside. Upon inspection and touching the Android her skin burned from the contact, yet nothing stirred, only an invisible mark appeared on her palm. A few days later the woman returned, thinking she could sell something from the shuttle. Only the android had awakened.

What I am looking for: Someone to play the Android

Lost Letters

Lovers during dark and uncertain times. Once known a Lady of an old noble House as her father deemed a traitor. She and all the family were executed by the King. Unknown to the humans, the Maiden had a vampire lover, her business with the Council had taken her away from saving her lover from a tragic end. Now in 1843, the Era of discovery and corsets as Queen Victoria reigned. The Victorians had expensive tastes. In the sways of London, the wandering vampire who still yearned for their lost love, an outcast from their kind. Saw the face of their lover. Reincarnated and still as beautiful as the day they had met.

I'm looking for someone to play either the vampire or Reincarnated lover. How she died can be remade or the same as listed above.
