for the majority of his life mizu has lived on the outskirts of his shoal, preferring the comfort of solitude over large crowds. while for the most part he lives in an underwater cave he will occasionally venture onto land, driven both by curiosity and the desire to see more. to change forms he needs to be completely dry, leaving him vulnerable for roughly ten to fifteen minutes each time he dares step on land. likewise he needs to be fully submerged for his tail to reappear again, though being caught out in the rain can create a difficult predicament. there are very few he considers himself close to, his younger sister and older brother being two of the few people he can tolerate for extended periods of time.
