Any Same old Kupo, just a new request thread

Hey guys
First,
First I should express that I am strictly looking for story-based roleplays only. I am not here to write only smut, not every story has to be romantic and if I feel we have deviated from the original agreed upon plot, I would suggest we either steer it back or end it.

I have a list of requirements and a list of the kinds of plots I am willing to do. I know this sounds a little pre-emptive perhaps but give me the chance and the time and you will receive only the best of my abilities :)

The main thing I do struggle with is fanfic, I don't mind using the worlds or universe from certain shows, books, games or anything else you can think off.
However, I always feel nervous to play a character someone else has created. I feel it would not do them justice and ruin the image for such said character considerably.

That being said, I am willing to try if you'll be patient.

I enjoy a wide variety of roleplay genres. My more enjoyable ones being a somewhat medieval/past time, fantasy based though I also really enjoy "slice of life" projects too.
I will limit how many romantic plots I have at one time though.
Preferring to play the male role but am always willing to play a female one too.

Spoiler: Tidbits and REQUIREMENTS

I have several requirements that any who are intending to roleplay with me should know and acknowledge.

1. I always try to put as much detail and time into my roleplays as possible, which means you won't always get a reply on the same day.
I often write out three replies to your one, choosing between the three or even mixing them together if need be until I write what I think is the best to my ability for yourself.

2. It is expected that you will put time and effort into your own.
This doesn't mean you have to go to the lengths I do, but I would like you to proofread your own and try to offer as much as possible per post.

3. I prefer longer post, the longer the better though this can also mean replies won't be instant also.
I will not do one line roleplays or anything less than two paragraphs.

4. My roleplays will always be STRICTLY STORY BASED.
This means that if we decide on a plot together, it will be solely based upon the story. Not the smut!
Moving from a story based to a smut roleplay won't be accepted and trying to force it into such a situation will only cause me to end the roleplay. I'm sorry if I sound rude or strict but you have been warned.

5. I hope you will read everything I write as accurately as possible.
If you have read this far, please begin your inbox message to me with the name of your favorite book.

6. I hope to have a good OOC relation with those I write with.
If you need to take a few days for a reply, I would like to know beforehand, as I would tell you if something is coming up. I have been ghosted numerous times and do not wish to experience it again.

Finally. If you want to end a roleplay, please tell me honestly and I will always do the same. Interest can change, writing partners don't go as we might have hoped, misunderstandings on where we both wish the story to lead, simply overrun with roleplays right now even, I don't mind what the reason as long as you are honest with me.

Spoiler: Characters and Plots

I have a character list available which is going to be constantly built upon. New characters added whenever one is created.
I might go a little overboard with my character sheets from time to time but the more detail the better, right?

However, not every plot requires a character sheet to start, I will end up building one still based on the roleplay as we go along which will be added to the list.

Any plot ideas I may have will be posted here, below as a new post whenever one is thought off.
If a plot is open for use, it will say so on the post, if not, again it will say so. The same with my characters.

This does not mean if a plot I have up, catches your interest that you should not ask still. Changes could be made, some might be there but be ready for recycling and the such, again. Please inbox me if you have any request.

War is a Contagion

The date is October the Thirteenth. The setting, London, a city of strong, beautiful buildings slowly coming to ruin by the chaos surrounding them. Every night, sirens would erupt through the streets, men, woman, and children were rushed off to shelters and local bunkers build specifically for such events as the skies would be littered with German bombers, dropping their destructive gifts down to the city below!

England was at war with the Germans!
Hitler was fighting to take reign of the world!

Life had been somewhat peaceful but now every single person lived in fear. Numerous families are torn apart by the desperate measures they have been forced to take, sending their children off to the countrysides in an attempt to "Evacuate" them, temporarily adopted by strangers and left to the hands of others. Everybody was forced to learn how to use a gas mask, hard work, and labor to all who were left behind. The men, sent to defend the country in war or fight for others too.
London had become a very dangerous city to live in and yet... It had become one of the greatest places to scavenge from during the dark nights of the blitz.

Who would dare risk life or limb during the raids? Well, those who are homeless, hungry, desperate for anything to survive or those who are greedy, foolish to fill their own pockets. This is your usual rabble for rummaging through the abandoned houses, seeking out any morsel of food, any scrap that might just fill their stomachs. Though, these were just the humans, the "beans" that were often seen through both night and day.

Who else might you ask? Well, you probably won't believe me but I'll tell you anyways. What the humans didn't know about, were a race of beings, so small, so easily hidden even in the broad daylight. People who went by many names, Lilliputians, Little People, Blefuscians and even, Borrowers. The least common name for this strangely miniature species is Sectarians or "Secties" and "Secs" as they often refer to themselves.
They are small but very creative and clever beings, using whatever they can find in the world to better prepare themselves for every adventure. With strengthened bones and muscles, they can fend themselves from the world's creatures and bugs though often choosing to play it safe and avoid the need, they knew they wouldn't have much luck hand to hand with a human obviously. When it comes to battle plans, smarts and wit, they become much stronger, even more so when a group would work together! Working together makes them fearless, unwavering and ready to take on the world!

Much like many of their kind, the Sectarians went by four simple rules... Only take what you need, never be seen, never be heard and especially, never let yourselves get caught or trapped. Their existence being a secret was vital for survival!

These Sectarians have taken shelter in an empty, rundown rail line beneath the city of London, often sending their own to venture out into the lands above, using an old manhole as all other entrances were blocked off now. The train lines that lead here had been walled off and many forgot their little plot of underground land had even existed.
Their leader, an overly robust Secty by the name of Barrin Strap, often going by Bar for short. He had once been a great Secty, leading numerous adventures out into the London streets before the humans had gotten caught up in their war, he would come back with his troop and a bountiful of treasures but as the second world war began to kick in, the power he held had begun to go to his head. Growing lazy, demanding and cruel as others were too scared to stand up Barrin. They knew, without this wonderful sanctuary, they would be left to fend for themselves on the war-stricken streets above.

All were scared except one. Elijah "Eli" Roast, older brother of Pelle Roast. Eli had been one of Barrin's best troops in the old days but his respect for the other was lost pretty instantly and now, as he stands against his old battalion Partner, he found himself standing alone. Eli had demanded to Pelle that he must stay, must work from the shadows and try to keep the others safe for as he stood before Barrin now, Eli knew he would be banished from their home too.
He would be leaving all he had behind and starting on the streets of London alone.

What Eli hadn't expected though, was weeks after his own exile, he would find another Secty [Your characte] had been forced out of their home, out of their sanctuary and pushed to live upon the streets of London. Though reluctant at first, Eli allowed the other to travel with him, to learn from him where to live and what to look out for. hear others too had begun to fight back, to argue Barrin's demands, causing themselves too to be released into the world. It was this, the fought of building forces of his own that had Eli thinking he could continue to build his army and take down this cruel dictator Barrin!

More Secty's would show with time, more would join their forces, urge Eli to push forwards and make his own army! To overthrow the oppressing Barrin and bring both food and safety to his remaining friends and family.


Okay, so. I'm really interested in having this be a long term roleplay with large paragraph style posting and very story orientated. Knowledge on the second world war isn't necessary but some could help, remembering the timeline for instance and knowing your character isn't going to stumble across a laptop/mobile phone/computer etc but some things will be findable ofcourse. They will use the surroundings to their advantage but obviously could use other such tools.
There may be a chance of a romantic relationship during the roleplay but it isn't what I am aiming for and even if there is, that doesn't mean there will be sexual scenes included.
