"Halt! Who dares approach the kingdom looking this... questionable?"
"Didst thou dress in the dark, or is this 'new world fashion'?"
"Welcome, traveler! Prepare to be separated from your coin!"
"What brings you to our fair land? To buy a turkey leg or to be the village idiot?"

Good Morrow! Good morrow!
Proceed through the gates, and don't mind those hecklers. Step into our realm of wonder and explore unique, hand-crafted goods from vendors, featuring armor, jewelry, and leather goods. Keep an eye out for the wandering minstrels, magical fae, and get your hands on a hearty turkey leg to fill your belly.
Armored knights! Fair maidens! The King and Queen invite you in and ask that you help them make their festival one to ne'er forget.
But wait! What soundeth yonder? The Bard! He doth require aid before he's off to the stocks! Go to him, you'll find his tent just down the bend. Follow the sounds of his lute.
Beware traveler...
One misstep from the designated path will surely land you into the fae realm. Legends say the only way to regain your freedom is to agree to work for the Fairy Queen herself, and bring her trinkets and bobbles from the human world. She'll let you out, but you must finish her scavenger hunt to e'er truly be free!

The Bard's Tent
It seems our dear Bard is struggling to remember the lines of his tale. Come to his aid and give him his missing lines when he calls for them! Will you save him from the King's wrath? Or will he be off to the stockades by the time you're through with him? His fate is in your hands, traveler! Help him and receive a token of his appreciation!
Instructions: Copy the code provided below and paste it into your post. Only change the lines where it says, "Fill in these lines with words" and leave the rest as it is. Preview your work before you are done, then submit your Bard's song to the thread.
When you are finished, it should look something like this:

Gather round, you merry kin,
While this cloud of quiet settles in,
Iβll pluck this tale from twilight's seam,
And spin it gold from breath and dream.
Verse 1
Chorus
There was a knight named Sir Patrick the Bold,
He had carrots for fingers and a mouth full of mold!
The pigs did love him and the girlies did, too,
Ole Patrick with his two rusty buckets for shoes!
Verse 2
Itβs hard to say whatβs wrong or right,
When the king dubs a scarecrow as a knight!
But good ole Patty did his best,
The hay fever hero that conquered the west!
Patrick the Bold got his pants from a snake,
His helmet was a melon and his sword was a rake!
He wasnβt full of brains but he always tried,
Champion of the realm til the day he died!
And thatβs the legend, or so itβs told,
Passed down from the minstrels of old,
Singin' and strummin' on simple strings,
Set loose on silver tongues and wings.

The Fairy's Quest
You wander off of the path, ignoring your greeter's advice. Lost in a thick of strange plants and magical things, you become cursed within the fae realm. A clearing ahead reveals a small spring with a cave nestled behind it. You can hear humming and laughter, and see a glimmer of lights shining from within its depths. It's the first real sign of life there, so you move forward, coming face-to-face with a small fairy that zips away to hide behind its massive queen.
The fairy queen regards you and agrees to return you back home, but only if you vow to bring her the things she asks for. She sends you back to quest, but every time you open a door, the setting changes like some magical, deceptive maze. If you ever hope to have a normal life again, free from the fae, you'll complete her scavenger hunt and call out to her when you're done. Only then will the curse be broken.
Instructions: Post in this thread asking to be gifted your Scavenger Hunt List. You would be quoted and given your own unique set of 3 questions to answer. These questions will be related to the website, and could involve using the search features, looking through old announcements, and navigating to places you've never really noticed before.
When you are finished, it should look something like this.
