Around the Forum

October Events

October is a big month for events. While we have our seasonal and monthly challenge up, this year we have two new events: The Haunted House Escape Room and Kinktober.

We also have a movie stream every Saturday starting at 12 PM EST/GMT -4!

New & Old

For those with Steam, the Sanctum has a Bongo Cats room you're free to join. In order to get the badge, please make sure we know who you are in the thread!

Inner Sanctum is ten years old now, which means there is a long history of challenge prompts that anyone can go back and use for themselves.

Every week is a new 100-word prompt. In the same forum, we have one of our longest running games: Word Association.

Event Hosting

Sanctum did not always host events until the last couple of years. More and more we see people interacting with them and having fun. Collecting badges and building on our community. However, this isn't strictly limited to moderators.

With a moderator's permission and presence, we allow members to stream games or even host a game night. On that same thought, if there are any ideas for events or prompts, we welcome them. Your ideas, your feedback; feel free to message a moderator to discuss.

D&D Tavern

Interested in Dungeons & Dragons? We now have an official Sanctum Discord for that where a few of our members have taken the time to run groups. See here for more information!

Book Lovers

Many of us are book lovers and sometimes, we're curious about a book that someone else might have read! I've even seen a few people in our chat mention a book club.

In the blogs forum, a trend started by Avesta Hitch saw to a few of our members have started their own book blogs: LavenderTea & Roo23 also have a book blog.

If you prefer having e-books, @Degusaurusrex posts E-Book Freebie Events

Character Quotes

"If I'm in trouble, I will ask for help. If a man saved my life, I would feel honoured. His own life! On the line! For me! Isn't that romantic?" - Isabel Buendía

Critique Help Wanted

For writers, one of the most daunting and needed things is critique. We have a forum specifically to receive feedback and give it, including a guide on how to do both!

• We have an open discussion about Request Threads Do's & Don't's
• Avesta Hitch has an interesting idea they are looking for more feedback on as well!
