Wisteria embodies a character marked by confidence, a touch of condescension, and a critical eye. Her self-assured demeanor finds its roots in her upbringing within a noble family, where privilege and attention have been constants in her life. This environment has contributed to her poised and sometimes haughty outlook, as well as a certain level of superiority compared to those of a lower socioeconomic status. Wisteria's penchant for self-criticism extends to her interactions with others. She doesn't shy away from pointing out flaws and imperfections, both in herself and those in her orbit. While her critiques may not always be unfounded, her delivery can be direct and at times, unkind.

Born into a family of knights, she followed in her father's footsteps by enrolling in the royal knight's academy. Her father's own legacy as an instructor at the academy played a role in this decision. Despite her familial ties to knighthood, Wisteria's true passion lies in archery. When she takes up her bow, she transforms into a remarkably talented and masterful archer. Honor and loyalty are guiding principles in her life. Her noble family's values have been ingrained in her from a young age. These principles serve as her moral compass, directing her actions and decisions. Her loyalty extends beyond her family to the academy and its cherished traditions, as she is deeply committed to upholding the honor and prestige of knighthood.

Name: Averena Eldmont, Princess of Lysoria
Nicknames: Vera
Age: 24
Height: 5'2
Hair Color: golden
Hair Style: Long, wavy
Eye Color: gray
Species: Human

Personality
Vera is a woman caught between duty and desire, a reluctant leader shaped by forces beyond her control. She is thoughtful, diplomatic, and determined, but beneath her regal composure lies an undercurrent of self-doubt and quiet resentment. Though she strives to embody the queen her people expect, she cannot silence the small voice within her that wishes she had never been chosen at all. She sees herself as a woman constantly trying to catch up, trapped in the image created by rumor. She must be perfect.

She is a moderately competitive person, but she would not openly show it. Vera is typically restrained but can be capable of recklessness in moments of emotional distress. She is careful and calculating in most matters, but when faced with overwhelming pressure or personal turmoil, she may act rashly, driven by frustration or desperation rather than logic. Vera has learned to be socially adept, knowing when to speak and how to carry herself with grace. However, she finds court life draining and prefers solitude or the company of a few trusted individuals. She often needs time alone to process her thoughts, though she cannot always afford such a luxury.

Vera always feels as if she's a step behind, scrambling to fill the role that was never meant for her. She struggles with imposter syndrome, never certain if she is truly meant to rule or if she is merely playing a part. She wants to be seen as a capable and just ruler, someone who deserves to be on the throne. Vera yearns to be known as a wise ruler rather than a symbol of fate's fickleness. Currently, the princess is seen as a divine ruler chosen by higher powers. Many regard her with reverence, believing her presence alone is proof of a higher plan. To the nobility in her kingdom, she is a wildcard–a ruler they did not expect and one whose legitimacy they quietly question. Some see her as a puppet, others as a force of change, but few truly understand that she is just simply a human.

Likes: sunlight, reading, freedom
Dislikes: pressure, excessive flattery, comparisons to her cousin even in a favorable light

Relationships
  • Thalrik Eldmont, The King of Lysoria
    • A stone cold man who rules with an iron fist, it's difficult to ever guess what he is thinking. He is a man of a few words
    • Inherited the throne after the sudden passing of his brother.
  • Isolde Eldomnt, The Queen of Lysoria
    • The crown has bore its weight on the queen in full force, often exhausted. The woman hardly gets a moment to herself with all the duties she attends to, perhaps to keep her mind busy more than anything. She was never prepared to take over duties as Queen.
  • Princess Nyssara Eldmont, Princess of Lysoria & Ex-Heir to the throne
    • Nyssara is the younger cousin to Vera and the original heir to the throne. Her mother died at birth, but her father still trained and readied her to govern the kingdom one day. With his death and her young age, it only made sense for her aunt and uncle to take over for the time being. She never expected to lose what rightfully belonged to her, though.

Princess Averena "Vera" Eldmont had never been destined for the throne. From the moment of her birth, it had been understood that her cousin, Nyssara, would one day ascend, inheriting the crown when she came of age. Vera had no reason to question this certainty–until fate intervened.

The sudden death of her uncle shattered the natural order of succession, thrusting her parents into the role of sovereigns. Even then, they assured the court and their family that the throne would still pass to Nyssara in due time. Vera could never imagine her world would be irrevocably altered, that destiny had other plans for her.

By sheer accident, Vera stumbled into the fae realm, unwittingly breaking the seal that had long divided the two worlds. It was an accident, a moment of chance, and yet its consequences were anything but trivial. With this discovery, the people of her world saw Vera in a new light; they saw something greater, something divine. To them, she was the reincarnation of purity and power, the beacon their kingdom has awaited for generations.

And so, the course of her life was rewritten in a few short years. The whispers of fate turned into proclamations of destiny, and it was decided–Vera would take the throne. There would be no return to the life she had once known, no quiet existence in the shadow of another's rule. In a matter of years, she was transformed from a noblewoman with no aspirations for power into the future queen of a kingdom that saw her as something more than human.

The weight of it all was staggering. The world she had known, the certainties she had clung to, had crumbled in an instant. In their place, a new reality emerged–one where expectation and duty reigned supreme, and where she had no choice but to become the ruler fate had demanded of her.
