Please don't respond to this thread, as I'd like to keep it neat. Shoot me a message!
Note: Right now, I'm about 90% craving FxF plots, specifically my most recently-added plot at the bottom of my plot list. That doesn't mean I won't write MxF if there's a good plot behind it, but I'm far more open to FxF plots at this moment!

My name is Sappho. I am a 25-year old woman, I live in the EST time zone, and I have been writing stories for over half of my life. I started on sites focused on fluffy stories in fandom settings (shout out to those Percy Jackson roleplays that I loved to do back when I was 14) and graduated to less-fluffy sites when I was 19-20. I consider myself a fairly skilled writer. While I don't often do novella-length responses, I do enjoy anywhere from 2-5 paragraphs per response, depending on the specific situation. I write in third person, past tense exclusively. I don't care what tense you write in, and I'm okay if your responses are longer or shorter than mine, as long as it gives me plenty to work with.
For a little of OOC information, I am a very happily married woman with a full-time job and what most people would consider to be too many animals. This means that I will do my absolute best to give out a few responses a week (with the occasional rapid fire), but I make no promises. If I don't expect to respond for at least a week, I will update my status, as well as attempt to message you individually. Feel free to bump me, I never mind. I am also ghost-friendly. Like most people, I'd absolutely prefer to get a message just letting me know that you're no longer interested, but I won't guilt you or nag you if you don't. I'll typically bump once or twice, then move on. If you ghost me at some point and want to start a new/rekindle our original plot, hit me up! Real life comes first. I work early mornings and am usually home by early evenings, and am off weekends, so those will be my most available times.
I can write as male or female, most ages, etc. I am okay if my partner's gender does not match the character they play. Who you are behind the screen, as long as you are an adult, does not matter to me. I am fond of playing male characters and consider myself to be pretty good at it. I write primarily FxM, as either half of the pairing, but enjoy doing FxF as well. I do not have a specific preference for playing dominant or submissive roles and tend to play characters that are a little bit of both.
When it comes to violence in my roleplays, I am A-Okay with it. I enjoy darker stories. My longtime favorite setting is post-apocalyptic, because I love writing characters who have had to bend or break their morals to survive. So, I'm cool with violence, but am also completely fine with more lighthearted, fluffy plots.
A not-required but loving preference of mine is an ensemble type of cast. I find plots that really only consist of two characters and no/minimal side characters to get a bit flat after a while, so NPC's are a bit of a must, but I love writing stories that call for my partner and I to both write multiple characters. An example that I am particularly fond of is post-apocalyptic plots where my partner and I might both play 2-5 characters. I'm also cool with doing similar scenarios where just one of us plays multiple characters.
I enjoy writing sexual content. I do not enjoy writing plots that are entirely smut, just because I get bored. I won't give a specific ratio that I want, because it varies too much between plots, but I enjoy the tension that leads up to smut scenes just as much as the scenes themselves. As of right now, I would love a couple smut-heavier plots, but I won't say no to more plot-based either! I tend to avoid things like incest, bathroom content, vore, furries, and hardcore non-con. I don't really have specific 'kinks,' because they tend to vary based on the character I play.
I am not typically a fandom writer (anymore). I may be open to it if the plot really calls to me, but I will not write canon characters, nor do I really have any interest in writing against them. Nothing against those who love to do it, I just prefer to make my own characters! Some fandoms that I enjoy are Percy Jackson, most Brandon Sanderson novels/universes, TWD, Outlander, etc.
I've also seen people who are both for and against doubling, sometimes in relation to fandoms, sometimes not. I'm fine with doing multiple stories with one person, but I usually prefer to start with one and make sure we're a good fit before we start heavily discussing a second.

As of now, my pairings list will be fairly short, as I will add new ones as they come to mind. Also! I love drama, I think roleplays get stale without them, but I just prefer the drama to come from the environment rather than the characters, i.e. forbidden love, etc. That is to say I don't usually love plots that center on cheating/abuse/manipulation if the plot is intended to be romantic.
If I do have a preferred role, it will be bolded. Pairings that I am craving will be italicized.
Pairings:
Bodyguard x Royalty
Undercover Cop x Person of Interest
Fake Relationship
Un-Fleshed Out Ideas:
Post-Apocalyptic:
Apocalypse scenarios are by far my most long-standing love to write. I'm open to most options - I love a traditional zombie apocalypse, worldwide plague, overpopulation leads to population destabilization, most semi-realistic options. I love writing them either from the moment they happen, and writing out the initial "Holy shit, what's happening" kind of panic, to starting it years down the line when half-civilizations have been formed. This is my favorite setting for darker themes, as I love exploring how characters behave when there are no laws or regulators to punish ethically wrong actions but also love writing stories about the good guys in the aftermath, so the possibilities are truly endless, and I love them all.
Arranged Marriage:
We can blame it on my latest rewatch of Bridgerton, but I've had a craving for an arranged marriage plot, either modern or in a historical time period. I won't go into too much detail with this because, frankly, I have interest in this from all the angles - do we want it to be a forced proximity, enemies to lovers? Immediate chemistry/romance? I like it all!
To Have Her Is Forbidden (FxF)
I desperately want to write a story of a noblewoman, even a Princess, in the Regency period and her lady's maid. This is strongly inspired by the song Alibi, by Xana which isn't quite what it's about but it gives me the same feeling. I want a story with lingering glances, stolen kisses, in a time and setting that it would be social ruin to be discovered. This would obviously be a slow burn plot that would eventually include smut, but not immediately. I'm leaving this very vague because I would like to discuss further with my partner.
What I Should Want (FxM/FxF)
Based off a similar concept as the above with a twist. I don't typically have a set preferred role for my plots, but I'd like to play Muse B and Muse C for this.
Muse A is a noblewoman, princess, something along those lines. As one would expect from a family such as hers, her brother/father arranged a marriage for her to a suitable gentleman - Muse B. Muse B is a perfect gentleman, kind, traditional, rich, titled, handsome. While Muse A was not thrilled about the concept of an arranged marriage(perhaps she wanted control, perhaps she wanted a love match, whatever you want), she walked in intent on making the best of it. After all, Muse B is technically the perfect husband. Her plans go awry when she meets Muse C - his sister. She is the opposite of what a noblewoman should be - she speaks her mind, she practices fencing, shooting, archery, and has embraced her spinsterhood.
The idea of this is the duality between what Muse A should want(Muse B) and what she confusingly does want(Muse C). My intention for this is that we will see scenes between both pairings, including smut scenes. Other than that, I am open to ideas.

While I love all Post-Apocalyptic plots sincerely, I've been craving a more specific one recently that I would LOVE to find a partner for:
Hell or High Water (FxF)
It's been years since, for all intents and purposes, the world ended. Since then, our characters have been alone - even if they found groups to survive in, they were temporary, with no actual trust. When they first find each other, they expect the same, temporary companionship until they part ways. But after a day or two, perhaps just because they've been alone for so long, they decide to stick together a little longer. And perhaps there could be some benefits to a more trusting partnership between them, beyond just ease of survival.
