"The Great Alien Hide-and-Seek"
by Bug (who absolutely knows)

I told the blender,
but she just whirred.
I told the spoon,
he called me absurd.

But listen here, pal—
lean in, don’t blink—
aliens are real,
they just don’t wanna sync.

They’re sneaky little goobers,
in cosmic disguise,
wearing Grandma’s curtains
and infrared eyes.

One’s your math teacher,
two run the bank,
three sell used spaceships
from a taco food tank.

I saw one once—
looked like a bean.
Spoke fluent kazoo
and smelled like sunscreen.

But they’re good at the game,
this galactic charade—
like cosmic ninjas
in a lemonade parade.

They hide in plain sight,
in socks, and in drains,
in that weird little guy
with seventeen canes.

You don’t believe me?
That’s just what they want.
You’ll scoff, they’ll giggle,
then microwave croissants.

So next time your toaster
starts quoting Descartes,
don’t panic—just bow.
You’re surrounded by art.

Aliens? Real.
Proof? I exist.
And I once arm-wrestled
a blob made of mist.

So if you're still doubtful,
go stare at the moon.
But don’t say I didn’t warn ya
when it winks back... soon.

A ship set sail through star-specked space
Its sails have caught the solar gust
Embarking from the port of Earth
No night to mark the passing days
And drifting through the cosmic rays

The ast'roid belt grants narrow berth
Propelled at great velocity
In Newton's laws we can but trust
Though we've forgotten gravity
Ere planet-fall, we're lost at sea,
But we sail 'Jupiter or bust';
Our minds verge on depravity.
But still we have to prove our worth:
Last bastion of the human race.
As time-dilation wages on
We still can dream of Jovian dawn

A …love? note for the stars. Mild CW for stalkerish vibes.

I have to confess something… I've been obsessed with you, for a long while.

Since I knew how to crane my neck at night and look up, nothing else has ever caught my eye. It's all so… chaotic, filthy, and ugly.

Except for you.

Orderly, effortlessly glittering better than the finest diamonds, an impossible combination of ancient and advanced, dignified and glamorous… In my head, I simply can't help but lump you in with the highest thoughts and finest things in life.

Seeing you is like a breath of fresh air to my soul, and there's nothing more pure in my life than it. The feeling I get in my chest when I see you… Unlike any drug. It leaves me blushing and excited, yeah, but it clears my head like nothing else, and leaves me feeling smarter and happier than when I started.

And the emotions you leave me with are a blend I rarely ever get—equal parts wonder, excitement, and sadness.

Why sadness? Oh, uh…

Well, because I know it will never be.

Physics doesn't allow it. Only in my dreams will I ever get to feel your warmth on my skin, will I ever get to know what you look like up close. Only in my own armchair guesstimates will I ever know if you would kill me or if we would thrive together.

It's… fine, though. I guess.

Yeah. It's fine.

Love like that is only possible from a distance anyways, right?

To think I've found you
Out of all the planets, stars, and galaxies

At this point, in time and space.

Oh, to be so lucky.

What an honor, my dear.

We are together now,
But I already miss you.

Let me bring down the sun so you never know darkness.
Let me rearrange the stars in a way that'll make you smile.

Let me bring you peace and safety.
