October is a really special month. Years ago I first heard of "Inktober," an event where artists draw one picture every day from a list of prompts. That idea influenced me here with these games in general, except instead of a different picture every day for one month, I chose to do one theme for each month instead. I love seeing our community coming together and sharing such talents, so thank you all so much. It means a lot to be a part of that. I have added entry types listed below, so be sure to check that out.
This month, we're celebrating all things spooky (even the cute versions)! Think of it much like the monthly streaming categories. We have sissy things, scary things, classic horror and even zombies. It's fine to display blood if that's part of any image, but please keep out anything that might be considered hateful or violent. Use your best judgement. ♡
- Drawing Art- Personal sketches and drawings, etc. You can do this traditionally or digitally (SFW Please). Things that are handmade or hand painted: Built Lego sets, 3D printed art you've made yourself, figure painting. Please submit art that was made with effort and care. Think spooky front yards or Halloween costumes: cats, jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows, ghosts, and the list goes on. Submissions that don't follow the guidelines set here won't be rewarded.
- Write- a poem or short blurb. Make up a song, or invent a silly recipe. Whatever calls to you. We're keeping these entries at a max-word count of 250 (Please avoid big triggers). This is meant to be fast and fun.
This is a place to express yourself and is very low pressure. Remember we do not allow the use of AI for our personal writing on site.
