About The Writer:

I am what many call an RP Veteran, I've been doing RP writing or collaborative fanfic writing (as I like to call it) for around 19 years. I am currently in my mid-thirties, so if I have a romantic/intimate writing partner, I ask they be 21+ years of age OOC.

I have done fandoms from anime to science fiction, fantasy, high fantasy (Lord of the Rings), comics/cinematic universe, supernatural, Hollywood, and slice of life.

My current interests are fantasy, comics, slice of life, and supernatural.

I prefer to write multi-para and novella. I tend to have a poetic, descriptive style, use NPCs as appropriate and focus on story-driven plots. I'm looking for people who might want to do 3+ paras.

Romance, smut, and intimate relations are something that has to be an aspect of the overall plot and not the focus of the plot. I won't do pairings unless they make sense and enrich the story. There has to be the right kind of IC chemistry between the characters as well. It doesn't feel comfortable to do forced romance in writing. My erotica style is poetic and descriptive, much like my other writing. It won't read like smut. Please understand that even in story writing, consent is important to me. If I am uncomfortable about writing a sex scene, I will let you know. And you are welcome to let me know if it gets uncomfortable, we'll do a fade out.

Anything physically abusive without consent and discussion is triggering. No sexual abuse. Violence and gore are likely going to happen in my stories. Obviously, no god-modding (controlling my character) unless it makes sense in your response, and we'll discuss it.

Another thing I want to bring up. IC romance doesn't = OOC romance. I have firm boundaries when it comes to IC and OOC. I'm not looking for an OOC partner. This is just story writing to me.

I do work, so I will be slower or scarce on the days that I work. I also help maintain a household and that can keep me extremely busy as well. I'll do my best to respond in a reasonable amount of time. Just know I am doing my best. I have both serious medical and mental health issues, so there are times when my mind isn't present to write just because I'm exhausted and in physical pain or mentally/emotionally dealing with mental health stuff.

Miscommunication. This might happen because I'm Neurodivergent. All I ask is for patience. I'm improving on my comprehension skills but it's a work in progress and I still misunderstand cues and make mistakes.

I don't exactly like discussing, or going overboard with discussing because I feel like it's over planning. I like roleplay writing to be organic and take on a life of its own, with unexpected twists and turns. My novel has distinct mapping, I want to see what weird and strange places stories go using our spontaneous imagination. A little structure is alright. I know the arcs for my characters, but I won't always share the full details. or all my ideas.

That's it. On to the next part.
STORIES.

Dmitri Krushnic
Victorian Era Fantasy/Preternatural/Supernatural.
MxM, MxF
My character is a traveling actor on a mission to find his long-lost missing father and ends up finding out he's a Nephilim. Imagine a show like Supernatural or The Vampire Diaries, set in the late 1800s. There is every kind of supernatural/mythological creature in existence, there are hunters. There is a war between Heaven and Hell. We can discuss more. Since this is a weird and random historical AU I created there aren't any canon characters to go with it, so any character would be suitable.

I'm interested in an MxM pairing because, at this time in history, such a relationship was incredibly taboo. And could potentially lead to death. As a plot device, I find this interesting. I am LGBTQ+ OOC and have studied this throughout history. I'm not limited to MxM though, it depends on chemistry and if it makes sense to the story. Also, non-romantic connections are welcome. Friendships, co-workers, family, enemies, etc.

For further details, refer to my current character link.

Harvey Dent
Gotham, Noir. The 1940s.
DC Comic AU/Fantasy/Heroes vs. Villains/Historical
MxF, MxM

This is a VERY independent portrayal and the alternate universe that takes place before Harvey is disfigured by acid and turns into a homicidal madman. This story begins with him becoming a hero/good guy and friend of Bruce Wayne/Batman and James Gordan. He is there to bring justice and reformation, especially after the social strife of the Great Depression. There is a realistic approach to this as well as mental illness. I feel like DC villainizes mentally ill people in a way that adds to the stigma, and the focus of this story is to give Harvey a realistic portrayal of his mental illnesses. Of course, this would be at a time before there were medications, awareness, and knowledge of bipolar, dissociative identity disorder, and PTSD/CPTSD.

For example, during this time period, they referred to PTSD as shell shock. CPTSD didn't exist. Mentally ill individuals often were taken to psychiatric hospitals/insane asylums. This would be at a time when lobotomies and electric shock therapy were legal. In most cases, however, they would be sent to residential psychiatric hospitals that focused on spending time in nature, athletics, talk therapy, and medications and kept separate from society. The richer you were, the nicer the place. Eventually, you were released when symptoms improved. Men and women were kept in separate residential buildings.

Mini unintentional psych lesson. Okay! There is a plot and more information can be found in my link to my current characters.

I typically go with chemistry and story building. Also welcome platonic relationships (friendships, co-workers, enemies, other connections) as well, romance isn't necessary.

Message if interested!
