Hello all,
I'm Roo, I'm 31 years old and from Denmark - my time-zone is CEST. Writing, making up characters and worlds was always *my thing* and I spent most of my free-time this way from age 12 to around 20. Sadly I haven't been able to write for years due to personal experiences - but I am now starting to get back to it. I'm looking for a few people to get to know and write with over time.
I am an empath and as such I enjoy the challenge of understanding and writing out different characters and their lived experiences. My writing is very driven by the emotions of my characters and it's important to me that they are well-rounded and feel like "real" people. Other than authentic characters it is important to me to create an interesting and vivid world for them to explore. A good plot, adventure and action is a must so our characters can go through interesting arcs.
Of themes I am interested in fantasy, dystopia and sci-fi. I like the tone to be a bit dark and do not shy away from throwing my characters into difficulty.
Close relationships is a must - be it romantic, friendship, comrades in battle or complicated antagonistic dynamics.
I am okay with violence, gore and intimacy. Though I am not interested in writing "smut" (sex for the sake of sex) I welcome it as a natural part of fleshing out our characters and their relationship.
I enjoy writing both as men and women and am okay with both MxF, FxF and MxM.
Preferably we can figure out some ideas together - I don't have any set plots I am looking for.
