Greetings & Salutations!
I'm currently on a 'never-ending' nostalgia kick of roleplaying a (mid-late) nineties paranormal gothic romance-inspired setting with anyone! Of course, I'm also hoping to add other elements to the roleplay; it won't strictly be just romance. For instance, I'm a huge fan of dark and gritty murder/mysteries, political intrigue, horror, thrillers, and suspense. With that said, I'm also okay with more light-hearted settings, just as long as it's not too fluffy.
I'm also really craving a paranormal wild west setting! So, let me know!

| About Me |
- Ghost-friendly!
- I'm only comfortable with mxf romantic settings.
- I usually post multiple (4+) decent-sized paragraphs per reply, and character.
- I only write in paragraph format from the third-person perspective.
- Double-friendly!
- I prefer to write characters in their late twenties to mid-forties.
- I'm open to writing most personalities, traits, and types, but I typically enjoy writing morally grey, deeply flawed characters the most.
- I usually use realistic (celebrity/model) face claims for my characters' physical appearance (or just a written description).
- I struggle with some mental health issues (as well as social anxiety), so there will be days when I'm not feeling productive or social, so please keep that in mind.
- I prefer to roleplay via PMs or public threads.
| My Partner |
- Please be double-friendly or willing to play the male role.
- Please write in the third-person perspective, using paragraph format.
- Please be an intermediate, advanced roleplayer.
- Please only use realistic (celebrity/model) face claims (or a written description).
- I'd prefer if your characters are in their late twenties or older.
- Please don't write your characters as Mary/Gary Stues.
- Please contribute to the planning process; I love bouncing ideas off with my partner(s).
- If doubling occurs in the story, please balance your character(s) fairly.
- Please don't hound me for replies if I haven't posted for more than a week. Just send me a friendly reminder via PMs, and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Still seeking Clint Barton
#1. {The Ronin & Cat Chronicles}
After half the population is 'snapped' by Thanos, chaos ensues, terror is imminent, the crime rates have tripled, and parts of the world have become a lawless wasteland. My female OC is a former SHIELD field operative/vigilante who now works as a private investigator (or sometimes as a freelance hitwoman/assassin if she needs the extra money). With money tight, she accepts a contract to track down the master assassin, known as the Ronin, and to take him out. Little does she realize it's Agent Clint Barton, and after a change of heart, they soon join forces to take down the underworld crime bosses and their men throughout the cities.
#2. {Trapped in Time}
The Avengers are pursuing a psychotic, mischievous individual who stole a powerful magical artifact from Doctor Strange. Anyone wielding the artifact can travel through time, and at the last second, he uses the object to send both himself and the team back. Upon each time jump, the villain unknowingly leaves behind a piece of his presence-- a spectral roadmap and a portal for the team to follow and traverse through. But with each use, the magic from the artifact dissipates, and the Avengers will need to catch up to retrieve the object before it becomes useless or risk being trapped in time...
#3. {Outbreak}
After being released from the psychiatric ward, a vengeful ex-SHIELD scientist is hellbent on destroying all those who wronged him (and many others) after he not only lost his beloved wife but also lost funding for his long-term project, which led to his termination by Director Fury personally many years ago. He builds multiple bio-canisters filled with a deadly toxin (a virus that turns people into zombie-esque creatures with enhanced strength, agility, and speed)-- and strategically places them all over New York City. The Avengers are then alerted by Coulson after a flurry of reports of infected people come in. And after recovering one of the canisters, Fury soon realizes who is behind the attack. He sends a team out to find and apprehend the scientist at his home, but it's too late; they'll soon discover his body along with an encrypted tablet device.
And once decrypted, the Avengers will soon learn they might be too late to find an antidote.
#4. {Spooky Shenanigans}
On All Hallows' Eve, The Avengers find themselves trapped in the labyrinthine home of Stephen Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum after Peter Parker accidentally releases a trickster warlock by dropping an unassuming vial from Strange's collection. The team must quickly search and rescue Peter and defeat the warlock before the Witching Hour strikes. But it won't be simple; they have unfortunately ended up being separated, and thus each one will have to face their darkest fears and nightmares...
#5. {Haunted Memories}
After the ordeal of finally defeating Thanos and dealing with the heartbreak of losing some of her closest friends and colleagues, Riley Matthews/Wildcat (my OC) officially retires her role as an Avenger/SHIELD field operative and now lives a quiet life off the grid. But soon, her idyllic life will come to an end when she learns that someone is impersonating Barton and is involved in the latest murder-crime spree, and is leaving behind Clint's old calling card (during the five years as the assassin known as Ronin) at the scenes of the crime. She warns Barton of the situation, and together, they team up to investigate these heinous crimes, not knowing the investigation will eventually lead them to confront the horrors of their past.
#6. {Haunting Love}
After reserving a week's stay at a haunted restored Antebellum mansion-turned-B&B in New Orleans, Louisiana, Clint Barton and my female OC are transported back to the Edwardian era after finding a diary hidden in the closed-off west wing of the estate. It details a tragic love story between a betrothed socialite and a mysterious gardener who disappeared on All Hallows' Eve night (and found between the weathered, yellow pages is a faded photo of a couple lovingly embracing that eerily resembles Clint and his love). To avoid suspicion, the two must play their parts perfectly, stay vigilant while also figuring out who is behind the disappearances, and find a way to travel back to the present by not changing (too much) history.
#7. {Origins}
Before the events of the Chitauri Invasion in New York City, a double agent/assassin (MC) infiltrates SHIELD (as a junior agent) to sabotage and steal highly classified files, and is also ordered to take out Director Nick Fury. Her mission is not just a professional hit but a personal vendetta. Her reason: she witnessed Fury execute her father (a former SHIELD operative-turned-senator) in her childhood home when she was just a child. This confused, saddened, and pained my OC because she remembered the friendship and respect her father and Fury once shared. She even admired and looked up to Fury at one time... but at that turning moment, she vowed to avenge her father.
She knows her mission won't be easy... she will need to stay vigilant and not draw too much attention to herself until the time comes, especially when she catches the eye of a certain senior SHIELD agent whose preferred weapon of choice is a bow and a quiver of arrows.
#8. {Something Wicked This Way Comes: An MCU/Harry Potter Crossover}
What happens when the Avengers are sent to an alternate timeline where the wizarding world exists? With no prior recollection of how they ended up in this strange world steeped in long-hidden mysteries and powerful magic trapped from a bygone era (also not to mention the odd-looking magical creatures roaming about here and there), the team must learn to navigate with the help of a few eccentric characters/allies to figure out how to return to their timeline.
* I would love this to be set in the late Victorian period, but I can be persuaded to have the roleplay set after the Second Wizarding Battle.*
