Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
Hello, I'm Sassafras, Sassy, or Sass, any of those work just fine! I have been writing for 15+ years and have written in all different verses and fandoms over that time. I really love slice of life stories that include elements like crime and mystery, as well as more fantasy or sci-fi type stories with eventful and action-packed plots. No matter what I'm writing, I like there to be some kind of overall goal my character is trying to achieve, whether that be solving a cold case or finding an ancient artifact, as long as there's obstacles to overcome that help the characters learn and grow, I'm down for it.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
Depending on the flow of the story my replies will vary in length, but usually land somewhere between 3 to 8 paragraphs, sometimes more if the inspiration hits. I never write less than 3 paragraphs. I don't expect my writing partners to match my length, especially on my longer replies, but I do ask that anyone I'm writing with be literate and able to write 2+ paragraphs per reply, that way I have enough to go off of in order to give a decent reply in return. As far as my schedule, I am mostly available during weekdays and can reply 3 to 4 times during the week with activity being slower on the weekends, primarily Sunday.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I am completely fine with violence and gore, but don't usually lean into it too heavily; I only use it if the moment arises / seems appropriate.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
Yes! However, I'm also open to writing in non-fandom settings. I love to create new characters & world build! I will note that I do prefer to create original characters even for fandoms. There are very few canon characters I'm interested in playing, even if I am interested in the world they exist in.

As far as romance pairings go, I do prefer female x female pairings, but wouldn't be opposed to female x non-binary pairing either (I'm happy to play either role in this pairing as well). Additional notes: Although I am feeling a bit shy, especially being on a new site, I'm friendly OOC and happy to chat about anything above if anyone has questions, or if you think I may be interested in a plot that you have an idea for! As should be assumed from where I am posting this, I don't prefer writing smut or sexual scenes. I'm not opposed to suggestive comments made in romance plots, so long as it ultimately fades to black. Providing none of your suggestions involve any of this, I'm more than happy to hear what anyone has to say and plot / write with anyone!

This idea involves my character The Wanderer, or Wanda (found on my character forum linked in the question below). She is from the Doctor Who verse, but it can be made more ambiguous to be viewed as any kind of time travel verse. My idea for this plot is that Wanda finds a piece of a treasure map, and upon further investigation learns that the other pieces of this map have been spread all across time and space in order to keep anyone from finding it. Driven by her curiosity and wanderlust, she decides to seek out the remaining pieces of the map, more for the thrill of the adventure and less for the treasure itself. Along the way, she encounters another character (any race, gender, or age [18+) in search for the missing map pieces, with already one in possession. Their reasonings for getting the map pieces are their own, and would be up to the player. Whether it be for fame and glory, fortune, or to finish what someone else started, the choice is up to you, anything goes! Wanda will be happily working with the other character, but it's up to the other player to decide if they are working to also help Wanda or if they are using her abilities against her.
This is a plot I've had for quite some time. For this idea I already have two pre-established characters, so I would be looking for someone to take on the second role. The story revolves around the breaking of a curse, focused on the two main characters, Emmeline Amalith (the witch, my character), and Francesca "Frankie" Rinaldi (the warrior, your character). Frankie is a human who was born to a poor mother, her father having left before her birth. Her mother was a bitter woman, and as she grew, Frankie learned to understand why. Generations before her birth, a curse had been put on her family, specifically on the women of her family. This curse, which had come in the form of a potion, forbid any woman in the family from finding happiness in love. This didn't mean they couldn't feel or fall in love, only that it was always going to end tragically. In Frankie's mother's case, her father had left her upon finding out her impregnated state, leaving her to fend for herself on the streets, while he galivanted off to the kingdom and courted a member of the royal family, leaving her mother feeling scorned. Knowing about the curse caused Frankie to keep her heart close to her chest, never daring to let herself explore romantic feelings for anyone. Unfortunately, her mother never made enough money to make get them off the streets, and when Frankie was only 14, her mother fell ill and died of her sickness, leaving her on her own. Frankie sought refuge with a nearby militia base, who took her in and gave her shelter, and even eventually training her in the ways of combat. When she was old enough, she was enlisted in the ranks and began fighting for the city. At 26, After being wounded in battle, she is discharged from duty. With more time on her hands now than ever, the knowledge of the curse begins eating away at her, and she finally decides to put an end to it. After poking around for information, she learns of a witch who lives in the woods but is never seen. With no other leads, she seeks her out, looking for answers and an end to the curse. Once she finds her, the two will embark on a journey to gather the ingredients to make the potion to reverse the curse. I want this to be a sort of slow burn romance!
