Alright everyone, so it's obvious that I'm new here. I returned to RP'ing a few years back after quite a hiatus. My first experience in RP'ing was late 2000s-early 2010s. This might show my age, but it came from this old social networking site called myYearbook. The RP'ing there was so basic. It was all very short (typically no more than 3 lines/post) and mostly 1st-person. We basically inserted ourselves into the RP's instead of using other characters.
Anyway, fast forward a few years. I joined this one website that was cool for a while, then the admins just got on my nerves so badly. Kept giving me board warnings for small things. Then, I found the RP site that I've been using for over a year. I preferred that one a lot more. The main differences there were that it's all 18+ and I get to say what I want without having to make it overly wholesome. "Fade to black"? Lol
Anyway, that brings me to here. I don't plan on making this a temporary stay, so even if the other site I came from does get their server issue worked out, then I'll jump between both sites, since having more RP partners is exciting, right?
Now, as for what I RP. Well, consider it basic af, but I really only do realistic/slice of life RP's. I've never been able to get into fantasy anything (unless it's fantasy football, but that's for a different discussion) and even with OC's, I'm no good with fandoms either.
I also stick strictly to MxF. Nothing against MxM and I've never been able to play females.
If you've reached this part of my thread and want to get something going, feel free to slide in my DM's and we can at least try to get something worked out.
