Brief Backstory: As a child, Paul had an affinity for the gospel, so his family sent him to a secluded priory in hopes that the Church would grant him a better life than their impoverished household ever could. Being an average student, Paul searched for other means of asserting his dominance and superiority, and began physical training. Though the Columbian-Glade War had occurred too early for him to enlist, it left Paul with a vision to spread the word of God through war. At age 18, he left the priory and became a Columbian serviceman for six years where he became acquainted with the ideology of far-right radicals. Paul's displeasure with the peacetime military led him to join a small paramilitary where he gained a local, but notable reputation as a violent commander, barely staying within the bounds of the law. After decades of service, Paul's paramilitary organization became one of the foundations for the Columbian Conservationist Party's own paramilitary. Paul retired from his brutal lifestyle in favor of electoral politics after suffering from an anarchist chemical attack. He came to the realization that he could only succeed in his goals if he first rooted out his enemies from the top-down.
