Admiral Ackbar is dead. In the wake of the Battle of Taris, Supreme Commander BORSK FEY'LYA has taken command of the Republic Fleet, pushing a bold offensive against the Imperial Remnant along the Hydian Way. As part of this mission, newly promoted General Antilles has ordered a small band of Republic operatives to make contact with the intelligence agent FULCRUM.

Meanwhile, reports of a mysterious new Imperial GRAND ADMIRAL threaten to unite the disparate Imperial forces, and ISB agent Amanda Gunn has a mission of her own....
