Genre: Slow-burn mystery / small-town fiction / sci-fi ish / kinda dystopain in a way
Tone: cozy moments, strange undertones, and layered emotional arcs (small town - dark secrets kinda thing)
Looking for: A collaborative writing partner to help bring a specific story to life.

In a small, sea-washed town named Arcay, life moves a little slower.
The people are kind. The shops are quaint. The ocean hums against the docks. And just offshore, rising from the water like a second sun, sits a massive, ancient metallic structure: the Dome. No one knows how it got there. There are no windows or doors—just crashing waves against a weathered, golden surface.
"The Dome provides. The Dome protects."
Everyone knows it. Everyone says it. There's even a plaque in the center of town. According to the histories, the Dome is responsible for all of the region's infrastructure - much like the other domes across the country. It's been there longer than anyone can remember, but no one goes in and no one comes out.
Enter Morgan, 19, a bookstore clerk with sharp eyes and sharper thoughts. She's been in Arcay all her life. She knows the town like the lines in her palm, even if she doesn't get out much anymore since her dad died.
Then you arrive—new in town. And when small things begin to go wrong—flickering streetlights, missed deliveries, odd dreams, stranger coincidences—both of you start to realize the Dome may be less passive than everyone pretends it is.

– A rich, immersive setting with mystery, romance, emotional nuance, and long-buried secrets
– A slow-build enemies-to-lovers arc
– A plot that unfolds intentionally

– A writing partner who enjoys developing their character deeply
– Comfortable with a slow-burn pacing—both in romance and in mystery
– Can post at least once a week (though I totally understand life being life)
I'd love to chat about all the ideas I have, and hear yours too!
