Hello everyone! I go by Xeno, I'm a 26 year old female, and I've roleplayed on and off for several years. I've mostly done one on one's with people that I know irl, but I'd like to expand back out again.

I have varying likes so I can fit just about any role, although I can't do too heavy action, angst, or dark/disturbing subplots. I tend to like romance but I don't need it to enjoy a roleplay or story, and I can play either male or female roles (though more familiar/comfortable with female). I prefer to write in at minimum paragraph length, and am not too picky on response times as long as you let me know if there will be a decent gap between replies.

My current fixations are: forbidden love, medieval and/or fantasy.

However, that being said, I am down for almost anything. Never hurts to see if there's something we can work with together!

As for me as a person, I'm pretty laid back, chill, and easy going. I like a lot of different video games, read and write a lot, and sometimes suffer for insomnia (which as I type this out I am dealing with it), so expect the odd late or extremely early response if we end up roleplaying together.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! Hope you managed to negotiate the site okay. Having a wide range of likes is nice to see .

My advice for Newcomers:

Read the rules. ( Non Negotiable)

Read a few Request threads ( RT) .

Make your own RT.
Explore the site, discover it has a ton of resources to make your stuff look cool .
Go back redesign your RT.

With regards to request threads, remember sometimes is as important to say what you really do NOT want as well as what you do. Also the bump rate is quite high so it's worth scrolling back aways for potential stories.

If you are stuck , drop by chat or look for names in staff colours. Green , Blue or Purple. Someone somewhere will endeavour to point you in the right direction.
