Star: Name- Doa486, Main Sequence Star, medium sized
Ordered closest to furthest-
Deshan 89P: Moons- 0, A rocky planet that appears peach and brown from orbit, this planet has no water and is unsustainable for any life other than some bacteria that feed upon sulfur deposits within the planets. Contains small robot and drone manned gas mining operations but is otherwise uninhabited and barren. No notable weather changes due to circular orbit.
Gitana: Moons- 1 (Kuu've), A brown desert planet with an axis tilt that causes for long extreme seasons with lows of 16 °C and highs of 228 °C. It has small amounts of subterranean water that is harvested for the settlements on this sparsely populated planet which are largely supported by biomes for the majority of it's inhabitants. Large mining operations for precious metals used for ship building can be found here supporting the need for inhabitants in these biomes. Native species are underground dwelling nomads with thin, translucent skin that frequently have tensions with settlers.
Yeal: Moons- 5(Rui, Tat'ner, Jersjers, Nexted, Toschojag), A humid planet averaging about 33.5 °C but temps ranging anywhere from 15-52 °C depending on the season. Appears to have an olive and dark green color from sky when not covered by clouds. Home to many species but native species are the Maons: Tough skinned bovids who have a hard shell. They consider eating in public to be impolite. They are skilled linguists, and many other races hire them as translators.
Althea: Moons- 3 (Red Jed, Istriwhih, Noeno), A planet that is mostly water with small continents and archipelago islands scattered amongst it. Has a warmer humid climate, with temperatures ranging from 45 - 73 °C. Much of their food is harvested in the ocean or with vegetation that are grown in favorable conditions. Various species live here but the population is mostly Althean, humanoids with elfish features. The government focuses on a caste system and a monarchy, the royal family claiming to be descended from the fae although there are rumors of incest to keep the 'bloodlines pure'. Native Altheans seem to follow a religion based upon the patterns of the stars and planets dating back before space travel.
Vilia III: Moons- 1 (Faije) Tundra and a few lakes. The land is a maze of steep valleys. The air has a foul smell. Mostly green with streaks of silver and orange from space. Used to mine ore, sparsely populated except for by miners and prisoners sent to work the mines. Home to a few military outposts used as a waypoint to get to other systems due to it's orbit and location.
Stradus: Moons- 1 (Moxlem) A vivid blue and green planet. The planet is made up of 4 continents, which make up 61% of the planet's landmass.
The plant-like organisms on this planet are exclusively different types of flowers. They come in all shapes and sizes, some are small and single stemmed, like you'd expect to find on Earth. But others are more like bushes, shrubs and even trees. Many of these organisms have developed unique ways to prevent them from being eaten. While many of them taste bad and a few are even poisonous, some have gone the extra mile and have become hard to digest. Any part of them that does get eaten and manages to survive an animal's digestion will often end up regrowing from that small piece, which now has plenty of nutrients from the animal's poop. Hidden in the depths of this planet's water are many gorgeous corals. Almost every species is completely different from the other. Hundreds, if not thousands of shapes and sizes and countless of colors make the underwater world an amazing spectacle. However, finding these spectacles is difficult, as they only seem to grow in very specific places with the right conditions.
Dreanor: Moons- 11 (Triuq I06 A-K) A planet that is varied shades of dark blues and grey. It is a mostly ocean planet with small island masses that take the form of swamps.
These organisms may seem impressive based on their aesthetics, but they're far from impressive based on their development, as most, if not all, have yet to develop beyond their very basic forms. The underwater plants are also very basic. The steps to higher, more specialized organisms are slowly being taken, but it will take thousands of years before we'll be able to see much variation in the planet's underwater life. Mammals are non-existent on this planet, let alone intelligent life, but there are plenty of insects, amphibians and fish. None of them are very advanced, but they have at least evolved beyond microbes and other smaller organisms. The vast majority of the species on this planet are reptiles, many of which only show signs of becoming higher reptile species and not mammals. So only time will tell if this planet will give birth to intelligent, reptilian life forms.
Chedwa: Moons- 4 (Cilu'ad, Rout, Tovvxa, Pehril) A small ice planet. It is light blue and white from space. Temperatures range from -160 °C to -112 °. Biomes are needed to support most humanoid life here on this planet. It is full of precious resources within the planet's crust if people are able to get to them despite the extreme temperatures.
Esseple: Moons- 0 A large gas giant with colors of pink and blood red. No solid surface. Ultra high pressure. Extreme temperatures; the temperature can reach several thousand degrees the deeper you go.
Asteroid belt: A large asteroid belt is surrounding this system and it is fairly densely packed and considered highly dangerous for most ships, only the smaller ships being able to find passage through safely with the most skilled pilots. A magnetic field that gives a straight shot to the planet Vilia III creates an opening within the belt to allow ships of all sizes through but consequently makes the surrounding belt a bit more unstable.

Star Name:
*Vao F7X, Red Dwarf, Small
*Vao A1K, Red Drawf, Small
Naus: Moons- 1 (Pespest) A small desert planet incapable of supporting life although the soils contain vast amounts of nutrients and minerals
Dyilan: Moons- 1 (Gridora) A medium sized planet that appears grey and white from space. The atmosphere and temperatures make life on this planet possible but a lack of useable resources for any economy due to the planet's harsh rocky exterior have forced this planet to rely on outside aid and the black market for the survival of the few that do choose to call this planet home.
Skaro: Moons- 2 (Neshem, Kyog) A small planet with a dense core and a heavier than average pressure. It appears to have bands of rust and grey from space. The plant-like organisms on this planet are almost exclusively shrubs, bushes and other low plants, with some flowers, fungi and a handful of small tree species. This planet is home to a huge variety of animals, mostly related to reptiles, birds and fish. However, the most advanced species are birds, some of which have become sentient. Whole communities of birds can be found throughout the planet, many of which have evolved into completely separate species although unfortunately many of them are also found to be delicious and are hunted for their meat and colorful feathers.
Oshal: Moons- 0 A large gas giant that appears to be gold with orange bands. Contains some valuable gasses which are harvested via drone but the cost to harvest is often high and considered not worth the effort.
Nolia: Moons- 5 (Kout, Serpet, Culen, Halbe, Dullah) A large ice planet where the ice built upon the surface is nearly as thick as the planet's crust as well (or so rumors say, nobody has been able to drill that far). Devoid of life safe for microorganisms that can be found within the ice or in hot springs on the planet.
Cion X6: Moons- 0 A dwarf planet with little atmosphere and no life. Some radioactive materials can be found useable as a resource here but the lack of water and extreme temperatures make it impossible for even the most brave of settlers.

Star: 4656 Cygni - Class A Type Main Sequence Star, 2x Solar masses, Pale white light
Planets, in order of closet to furthest from Sun:
Ferrun - Small rocky planet, rich in ore but not much else. Dull brown appearance from space. Extremely jagged land formations, due to copious amounts of volcanic activity. There is no surface water except small ice caps found at either pole. Despite the rather inhospitable conditions, a population of a few million has set up a few outposts around the planet, as well as a single large city named Sahul near the northern pole. Most of the population is employed in mining, with the rest working in the normal enterprises one would find in a city. Because of the lack of atmostphere, the city consists of heavily sealed buildings, outside of which humans must wear life support equipment. Water, food, and most other goods are brought in through the industrial spaceport at the center of the city. No moons.
Caifa - A moderately sized Terran planet, with a nearly perfect 50/50 split of land and water, with the land divided into two continents. With a population of eight billion, the planet contains a few large (by galactic standards) metropolises surrounded by urban sprawl that slowly melts into agriculture. The capital of Theia contains the Cygnan Council, the nominal rulers of the system, made up of influential businessmen and scientists. The city is the crowning jewel of the system, but even it has its dark underbelly, though due to overbearing police presence, it is extremely hard to access. It possesses a single moon, Merina, terraformed into a high class resort destination and city. Wildlife preserves, oceans, and the like are its main draw, but as the police presence is less here, it is also where many of Caifa's upper class go to escape the tight constraint of the law.
Triiu - A relatively large planet that consists of a single urban sprawl covering the entirety of the surface. Despite being a very productive manufacturing hub, the planet is poor and polluted, and no accurate census can state just how many people live in its squalor. While technically free, most of the population is not allowed to leave the planet, in order to keep the factories staffed. It possesses a single moon, Kerebos, used exclusively for defense of the system. A system of massive mass accelerator guns and a few laser weapons keep any federations from invading the system, at least militarily.
Kwadril - A large planet, used almost exclusively for agriculture. Small cities with disproportionate spaceports dot its large landmasses, with just under 30% of the surface covered in water. While the offical population numbers around twenty billion, it is well known that despite its illegality, the slave population likely far outnumbers the free. Despite its lack of pollution and relative wealth among the free population, the planet is well known for its criminal dealings, with mercenary bands often conducting raids on neighboring planets and systems in order to bring back more slaves. Its two small moons, known as Kwadril 1 and 2 are each used as orbital refineries for grain and other foodstuffs, packaging the finished product to be sent out.
Cygni 5 - Dwarf planet devoid of any real defining features besides being a brown rock just far enough outside the asteroid belt that separates the inner planets from the outer. On paper it contains only a research facility and communications relay and their supporting systems and workers, but in reality it is often a staging ground for mercenary groups, smugglers, and pirates, owing to its odd rotation, which keeps half of its surface shrouded in darkness. It has no moons.
Cygni 6 - While officially unnamed, it is colloquially known as "New Barataria". It is a large volcanically active terran planet beyond the asteroid belt. Most of the planet is covered in ice sheets, but around the equator a large strip of temperate forest can be found. Even within the icy wastes, numerous hot springs would have made the planet a prime destination for tourism if it weren't for two issues. First, the natives. A supposedly technologically backwards alien race that lives in tribal villages along the equator. Contact is officially forbidden to preserve their 'untouched' and 'pure' existence, but this is only due to the presence of the other inhabitants. The planet is a den of criminals. Pirates, smugglers, mercs - basically anyone with a record can be found on the planet. Communities of various sizes and purposes can be found across the planet, though generally well hidden from orbital view beneath the trees. These communities are independent, controlled by a criminal leader who carved out his own rule. The aforementioned alien natives are largely enslaved, and often eugenically bred for desirable traits, with subspecies meant for strength or beauty, or intelligence all slowly becoming genetically distinct. The planets moons are much the same, though the communities here don't bother trying to conceal themselves.
Raeus - A massive gas planet at the edge of the system surrounded by 5 large rings containing many mining companies and criminals.
Other areas of note:
Asteroid belt - Contains miners, defense systems, mercs, independent colonies, and plenty of pirates and smugglers.
Cygni System Gate - Large station orbiting the sun between Caifa and Triiu, mainly used for its Gate, a device that slings craft unable to carry a large FTL drive into FTL speeds. However, it is also used as a population center, trade hub, manufactory, defense station, and research lab as well.
