The location: Outer space.
The crew: A two person team of Erasers.
The job: Eliminate hostile lifeforms.
The hook: Space is vast. Sentient life is rare. Friendly sentient life is rarer.
Humanity realized their dream of interstellar travel only to realize they were not alone. Far, far from alone. The farther humanity spread, the more horrors spread into humanity. For every system of cooperative lifeforms who accepted humans, there were true nightmares lurking on the dark side of their moons. Humans were unequipped, unprepared, and kindness only went so far with other species. Thus, the Erasers were born. A crack team of operatives trained to deal with...or at least hopefully survive against whatever hopeless dangers existed beyond the stars. You are one of these Erasers. They operate in teams of two, as limited as their numbers are, with a mission to scout and eliminate hostile threats to humanity as the great mission of space settlement continues.
Very rarely do Erasers succeed without casualties. You cannot truly prepare for something you have no knowledge of. Things you cannot comprehend. Alright, anyway, that's all the thought I've put into this. It needs fleshing out but hey, it's space horror so if that's your thing, neat-o that's my thing too. Here's what I'm looking for:
What to expect in my RPs:
♪ I am a heavy writer, I will be typing in full paragraphs with thorough description.
♪ I do my best to reply at least once every two days, life permitting.
♪ A plot skeleton. I enjoy letting the role-play form itself, and the plot to breathe life. However, a bit of planning first doesn't hurt.
♪ I tend to play males, simply what I am more familiar with. I have no preference in partner. Either sex or any gender you play, however, I don't do smut.
♪ I am a stickler for quality, I wont lie to any of you. I have a standard and I stick to it. I will tell you no if I don't feel we would be compatible.
What I prefer in a partner:
♪ Equal responses, or close to it. I can't and won't respond to a one-liner, ever.
♪ Good internal and external character development. I want to believe you care about and feel the life you put in your character.
♪ Semi-frequent replies. I don't expect constant contact, because that's insane. However, if you're going to vanish for a bit, let me know.
♪ In a similar vein, if you're done with the RP, just tell me. Nothing more frustrating than a partner disappearing with no warning.
♪ Just make sure you spell-check. It makes life easier for everyone.
