First time I've requested a new RP partner, so I apologize if I'm a little rusty, lol
I expect us to be having fun. We're we're not both of us having fun, what's the point? No one wants to be forced to write something. That's how people get ghosted. So, we're going to have fun, or where going to move on, whatever that looks like for us.
I expect us to be honest with one another. If it's not working between us, if we are just not meshing writing types or even personalities, I don't want either of us to suffer because we decided to write together. This isn't a job. There are no consequences if you back out. It's perfectly valid and very appreciated if we don't try to push something that's not going to work.
I expect that if we are writing together, we are both present. No, I don't care how long or descriptive your reply is. I do care if you're actually communicating me with. If you're just not up for it, tell me. It won't hurt my feelings, I promise. And I'll do the same for you. Broken brain days suck and having obligations on those days sucks even more.
Follow up on the communication thing, I don't want to be the only one coming up with plot. That's boring. We're not writing together then, we're writing my story, or vice versa. I expect us the share the NPCs when needed. I expect to have long and short conversations about the plot, I expect if you see I'm going somewhere with something, but you have no idea what, just ask. That's what OOC is for.
I prolly already said this for something like it, but it bears repeating then. Be honest with me. I'll be honest with you.
If you have a plot twist, point, or background thing about your character, I don't expect you to tell me what it is before you do it. That would be boring. Do let me know if you need me to go in a certain direction or if you need to manhandle my character for a second, and we'll be golden.
I'm going to typo. I'm ADHD and I'm dyslexic. I can promise you, it's going to happen a lot. Preferably in a medium in which I can edit my replies. It's just...if SPAG is a deal breaker for you, Imma be brutally honest, we weren't gonna be a good fit anyway. I am way too laid back for typos to be the end of the damn world to me.
If I'm having a broken brain daily, I'm going to tell you. and manage your expectations for the rest of the day and so on.
If I want to do something and I need your character to do a thing to get me there, I'm going to ask if I can either manhandle your character or if you can maneuver your character into the position needed. If it doesn't work for you cool. We move on.
I am going to chat you up in OOC. I wanna be friends with my RP partner. I want to build a report so that the more we write together, the more we can anticipate each other's moves. I just want some of that to be IRL too. If you don't want to chat me up that's cool. I'll get the message eventually. lol

Wanted to edit the post today for a couple of cravings. One for a character, and one for a story.
- Character: Jamie (James) Todd. He's a medieval fantasy pirate with a tragic backstory. He is fully developed and I love him dearly. Sadly his opposite's mun had real life come up and we had to put our story on indefinite hiatus. But I still want to play him, he was my first character created on this site, and I just really love him. I can supply his character sheet if anyone is interested in him.
- Story:
- The seelie and unseelie courts have always been on opposite sides because of their perceived nature, including the sidhe of the high courts. Both courts know that balance must be maintained and so it is up to the sidhe to keep the peace. Except things are never so simple.
- So learns the unseelie prince when, on a whim, he wanders into one of the largest cities of modern human mortals. Overwhelmed at first, he doesn't understand these mortals as they run about as if the world will end any day now and they must complete their tasks before then.
- But he starts to notice a rhythm to these humans as he wanders among them and finds that he rather likes it and just decides to stay. Fast yes, but with a purpose he's never seen in either light or dark courts. The monotony of his life before now becomes very apparent to him and he just...stays.
- But periodically, he is required to return underhill to make an appearance at some stupid gathering or another between the seelie and unseelie sidhe, otherwise, they'll think he's dead and all hell would break loose. It's at one such gathering that, bored out of his mind, the unseelie prince sneaks out early. It's not until he's back in the mortal realm that he realizes he's been followed. By the seelie princess (or less dominate/more submissive Prince-type. Or sovereign heir I'm not that picky anymore).

First time I've requested a new RP partner, so I apologize if I'm a little rusty, lol
I'm Flame~! I've been writing for approximately 25 years with breaks here and there, but when I wasn't physically writing, I watched youtube on writing craft. I've actively RP'd with at least one partner for the last 4 years.
I am looking for a Fem PR character writer. While I can write in a Fem voice, I would much rather write in a masc voice. I am an exclusive smut writer, my tags ranging from teeth-rotting fluff to dead dove and into the singularity and there is very little off the table beyond the community guidelines. Spice level can range from ️️️ to ️️️. We're talking over 1M on the Scoville scale. If my typical RPs were a Hot Ones episode, we're talking moving up rapidly through the sauces while trying to have a conversation at the same time. I'm talking hot. And I like to get to it fast. Reasonable for the story of course, but yeah, let's get to the good stuff on page 3 not page 200. That's not to say I don't enjoy an Emotional slow burn. Those are the most fun for me. Alright pinning for one another, and now they're getting it on and complicating matters. That's my jam right there.
My masc characters are at minimum bi. Sometimes they are more, but they will stare at a dude's ass just as much as they'll at a chick's ass. I cut my writing teeth on slash fic, so I'm comfortable with that, though, the last 4 years have been 98% het. And even then I'm pretty down for anything poly.
I'm flexible. My default is going to be 3rd person, past, limited. But I am just as comfortable writing 1st & 2nd person, past limited. I'm not overly fond of omniscient writing because I like an unreliable narrator, and in RP I feel that is a slippery slope to godmoding and that will bring us to have a conversation very quickly.
I write in the character's voice, which may or may not sound like mine, depending on the character. I tend to go up and down the scale of flowery, exploratory, descriptive, etc. depending on what is needed for the overall plot.
I don't care how long your replies are. Sometimes you can only go a sentence or two before you have to pass the baton because rapid dialogue and actions are required of both characters. Normal conversations don't have 300 to 1000 words of thought between each sentence, and answering three questions at a time sounds really awkward in general. And sometimes you're just tired, and your brain hurts and you just can't think of anything else but that 1 to 20 words of a sentence.
I'd rather have a reply of 1 word than have to wait a week until the broken brain stuff finally lets up.
I am totally down to chit-chat in OOC in between replies or even skip a day of RP to chat OOC. As long as I am getting some engagement.

Generally, I'm going to go for the modern contemporary, paranormal romance, or urban fantasy. I can manage the genre like sci-fi, historical, epic romantic fantasy, medieval, prolly. I don't feel that I'm a very strong writer in those areas.

I adore Omegaverse. I love the world-building I can do with it even in modern AU. I like to explore social, economic, designationism/sexism, and consent. And I love trying to figure out new ways for how the biology and medical differences between Omegaverse and non-omegaverse.

I can get bored with a story if we run out of plot. I can also get bored with a story if the characters aren't also doing it like bunnies. Basically, what I'm saying is there is a possibility that because of my ADHD, I'm going to be the "distracted boyfriend meme" personified. I will do my very best to make sure I keep working with you to prevent that...but I can't make promises because my brain is stupid. So, if that's a deal breaker, I understand and don't fault you at all.
I know I went over this one a bit in a few other places but if you're skimming, I figure it would be helpful for you if I actually put it all in one place.
