Posted all of this in a PM but it's a lot of info that everyone might need to know.

The First Order was badly crippled after Exegol. It nearly fractured altogether with many Admirals taking what ships they could gather and trying to set themselves up as emperors and warlords. A Council of Moffs was created by loyalists and they set themselves up on the planet Bastion. It became the most heavily fortified planet in the galaxy. Over the years some of the warlords and wannabe emperors were absorbed into the collective.

The First Order did collapse and became the Imperial Remnant. The second Emperor (directly after Palpatine) created an Expansion Through Peace program called the Imperial Mission. They offered aid and protection to planets the Galactic Alliance couldn't reach or didn't have the resources or inclination to help. It was successful and now under Emperor Roan Fel he signed a mutual aid pact with the GA officially bringing all hostilities to an end.

The Imperial Remnant did expand through the Imperial Mission but the fleet itself was still too small to defend all of its borders from pirates and the like. That's another reason why he is looking into having his own Jedi Order.

There are still some First Order remnants who refuse Emperor Fel's call but their ships are too few to be much of a threat.

History: Jaden lost her birth parents and adoptive parents all at an early age. Eventually, she was raised by her Uncle Orn, whom she often jokingly referred to as a Hutt based on his weight and laughter. Due to the loss she suffered, she reverted inward and became overly philosophical. This self-seclusion over the years led to her discovery of her latent Force-sensitivity.

At thirteen guided by the Force in a dreamlike state she went into her uncle's garage and used whatever spare parts she could find and built a purple-bladed lightsaber. Jaden, proud of her work, showed it to her uncle. Uncle Orn became concerned she possessed such a dangerous weapon and contacted the Republic. Days later she was enrolled and on her way to the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV.

She trained for a decade on Yavin IV, one day, while on the way back to Yavin IV, her shuttle was shot down. While trying to make her way back to the Academy. On the way, she fought a Darksider and some soldiers. Eventually, she found herself at a Massassi temple, where she saw two males and a woman with a sceptre emanating a pulsing energy that shot out to the Massassi temple. When they discovered Jaden, they blinded her with a flash of light from the sceptre, incapacitating her. Academy personnel found her. When she told them about what she saw, they noticed the aura of the temple had become much weaker. The attack had the hallmarks of a Sith Cult.

The Masters at the Academy studied a piece of cloth left by the Darksider Jaden killed. It bore the symbol of Marka Ragnos, an ancient Dark Lord of the Sith Empire. Jaden and her master were sent on a mission to discover more about the Cult of Ragnos.

Tracking the cult led Jaden and her Master to numerous planets. During her travels she attempted to stop them from siphoning the Force from certain sights, attempted to stop their funding, etc. During her fights with the Cult she killed many Sith, including the spirit of Marka Ragnos which had possessed the recently killed body of the Cult's leader. With the destruction of the Cult of Ragnos completed Jaden was promoted to Jedi Knight.

Ship: 720 light freighter

History: After Ben Solo joined Luke's Jedi Academy. Han and Leia had another child. The siblings never knew about each other. Solo-Skywalker lineage never had another Force-sensitive child until Jania. Jania was discovered to be Force-sensitive on her fifth birthday when she instinctively used telekinesis to take away a knife from a kid. After that, she joined the Jedi Order.

In 1 BBY, Darth Vader discovered the existence of a Sith virus that he wanted to weaponize. The Imperial Biological Weapons Division began work on Imperial bioweapons Project I71A onboard the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Vector. Eventually, the Vector's engines experienced a critical malfunction and lost virtually all power. The Vector was unable to move or communicate. The scientists did discover that some were naturally immune, which led to an anti-virus, but they couldn't create enough for everyone. Eventually, the scientists lost control, and everyone who wasn't immune became a zombie, and those who were immune were killed.

Over a century later, the Vector was rediscovered by salvagers. They reported it, but never came back. Their families reported it to the Republic, but they didn't have the time or the manpower to look into it. Jania and her Master decided to investigate it. They found the Vector just like the families reported. They noticed several ships nearby dead in their tracks. They ignored those for the moment to check on the Vector. They noticed it had minimal power. After docking they started to wander, the ship. They were unbothered for a time. The first zombie they came across appeared dead until her master attempted to examine it. If not for Jania's quick thinking her master would have been bitten then. Her master was determined to figure out what was going on. So they made their way to the labs so they could take whatever information they could. To ensure they kept the zombies as far away as possible to prevent accidental bites they grabbed blasters.

After grabbing the computer cores Jania's master insist, she return to the ship to secure it while her master went to the engine room to blow up the ship. While waiting for her master to return she used binoculars to check on any ships nearby she could see. She noticed several had zombies on board. She waited for over an hour, eventually her master showed up followed by numerous zombies. She opened up their ship and began shooting at the zombies but one was able to bite her master just a foot away from safety. He handed her his saber and told her to escape. Just she was about to say something her master started to turn she shoved him away with the Force and took off. On her way out of the system she made sure to destroy the stranded ships.
Name: Mara Jade

Other equipment: Mara Jade's combat suit

Ship: Barloz-class medium freighter

History: Mara's home planet was controlled by a series of former First Order admirals, each one being replaced in a series of deadly conflicts that dwindled the planet's population and resources. Times were tough, there was an economic depression, Mara's father was out of work due to an injured back, and Mara's mother was working three jobs, and they were barely getting by. One day, someone came along and offered them more money than they could fathom for Mara. They sold Mara. This person was Mara's first master. He took her to Malachor V, a planet strong with the Dark Side, and trained her in the ways of the Sith, among other Force-sensitive children. She was also taught to shoot.

Mara and her fellow initiates were trained for years in the ways of the Sith. After two years, each year there was a competition, and the weakest among them was executed. Eventually, it was down to just Mara and one other, this year, instead of their master killing the weakest, Mara would have to fight to the death against the only other survivor. The fight was long and brutal. She narrowly missed having her sword hand cut off. In the end, she won, and she killed the only boy she ever kissed. She became her master's apprentice. As his apprentice, she mostly served as an assassin.

A year into her life as a Sith assassin, she was recalled by Master but not Malachor V but to her home world. There she was to stand by the Emperor of her planet as he made speeches. She was to be his bodyguard, as the lapdogs of the Galactic Alliance, the Jedi, were sniffing around. As she watched the crowd, she saw her mother, and she looked terrible. Then she heard the Emperor say that those behind the fence, where her mother was, were all guilty of treason and rebellion and were to be executed. She suddenly saw everything for what it really was, all the things that she had ignored so that everything would make sense to her finally clicked into place. Mara snapped, she killed the Emperor in front of everyone, and then her master when he tried to kill her. She freed the prisoners. After freeing the prisoners, she fled back to her ship and made way for the Jedi to turn her in. Expecting to be executed for her crimes. Instead, they offered to train her and help her find balance in the Force.

Is that a sedan or a motorcycle /joking

In actual things to contribute—is there room for a dissatisfied anarchist smuggler who thinks the Rebellion has been sold out with the whole Galactic Alliance thing?

No it is a light freighter sized ship that people use like an RV.

They are used for less savory things as well but that is not how they are advertised*.

*Except in very specific places.
