I decided to get ambitious this Halloween. We have one huge pumpkin and one normal-size one. In the smaller one, I carved our last name in Aurebesh (which is super easy to freehand), and in the larger one, I carved a stylized X-wing (which was less easy and based on a sketch).
Carving both pumpkins took me a total of about five hours, most of the time having been spent on the larger of the two.
