Zero Company ended with the Shadow Plague cured in Hawks and the others on that Imperial ship, but the source was never found, plus a stolen Star Destroyer disappeared and was never seen again.

Hawks and Bennic know that a stolen 1,000-meter capital ship can’t just vanish into deep space without leaving a massive ion trail, a black-market paper trail for specialized parts, or gravimetric disturbances. If the Infinite Coil remnants took it, they took it somewhere isolated to turn the ship into a mobile breeding ground or laboratory for the Plague.

They pick up a corrupted emergency broadcast from an uncharted, dead star system in the on the outskirts of Outer Rim and Unknown Regions. It’s an automated ping using an encryption key unique to the stolen Star Destroyer—transmitting a repeating low-frequency bio-metric pulse rather than standard distress codes.

Hawks deploys a strike team to board the Star Destroyer. Inside, the ship isn't empty—it's a floating tomb acting as a massive incubator. The internal bulkheads are covered in the dark, entropic residue of the plague, and the Infinite Coil zealots.

The squad has to fight through infected defenders whose skin displays the telltale spiral patterns, using Force-like abilities and hive-mind tactics inside the narrow corridors of the ship.

Just like Zero Company proper, this team could be comprised of pretty much anyone even people who used to be enemies.
