Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
Hi! I’m starflower and I’m a 40+ year old lady. I used to role play a ton, but I’ve been out of it for about a decade, so my skills are definitely rusty.
Back when I was playing a lot, my specialties were fantasy, supernatural (especially werewolves) and post-apocalyptic.
I would prefer partners who are 25+ and the closer you are to my age, the better!
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
I prefer playing in third person past tense and will probably write 1-5 paragraphs for each reply. I really don’t want to read a book every time my partner replies, so please don’t give me extremely long posts.
I will reply at least once a week, though it’ll probably be more often!
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I prefer to avoid gore, but violence is fine as long as my character comes out of it intact. What you do with your character is up to you!
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
I would honestly rather avoid sexual content. Fade to black is perfect. The only way I’ll reconsider is if two very important criteria are met: 1) I need to be extremely comfortable with my partner & 2) Our characters have to have a strong connection with one another. I absolutely DO NOT want to have our characters hook up just because.
Again, I HIGHLY PREFER avoiding sexual content and will give priority to partners who respect this.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
I’m really only comfortable playing original characters, but whether my partner plays a canon character or an original character is entirely up to them.
At the moment, I am absolutely craving something set in the Star Wars universe so I can use my OC. (Find her bare basics bio here: Character(s) - Starflower’s Character Garden) I purposely didn’t tie her to any particular era so she can fit into any of them.
Any additional notes you want to add?
I think plotting together is part of the fun, so I hope to work with my partner on that!
Once I get my Star Wars fix, I’ll probably come up with more character for other genres and update things.
