To those on the other side of the screen also wearing pajamas,

It has been awhile for me. Outside of academic papers, I have not written just for my own enjoyment in at least five years. That being said, I really want to begin writing again. I've realized recently that I've given up so many things that I used to enjoy over the years and, frankly, it's pretty depressing. So here I am, giving myself a reboot and allowing some creativity back into my life. I apologize if my grammar isn't perfect or if my descriptions are too...bland...For now, I'll blame the years of academia forcing me to simplify and then simplify again. All I ask is that you all will allow me a grace period to climb back into the proverbial saddle.

As far as my writing style, it's been so long and has most likely changed since I was a teenager. It will be exciting rediscovering my writing as I head out onto adventures with the lot of you. With regards to genre, I have no particular preference as of yet. I'm just excited to be writing again.
