You can call me Torch. Let me start by telling you a bit about myself. I am a longtime fan of medieval high fantasy ever since being introduced to the tale of King Arthur as a child. It is where my heart lies the most, however, I am not limited. I also enjoy the supernatural, modern, and sci-fi genres. I am less versed in the sci-fi genre though. I have throughout my years participated in different roleplaying sites but I must admit it's been a while for me. I've been out of the game. I welcome constructive criticism as I am always trying to improve my writing abilities. I know I'm not the best by far. That being said, my first goal is to have fun. What I Look For In A Partner
I would prefer someone who is going to match my energy. Post responses as often as you can. I understand posting every day might be hard to do with life getting in the way but a posting at least once every few days would be much appreciated. Moderately literate and above is preferred. I personally am not a stickler for perfect grammar, punctuation, and spelling especially since I've been known to make a few mistakes myself but I do need coherent sentences. I know the rule of thumb is to not take control of your partner's character and I will respect that to the utmost but it is not a hard line for me. If you ask me OOC to take control of my character for a post or two I am likely to say yes. I have no preferences when it comes to writing lengths. I am all about quality over quantity. I do require though that you give me something to go off of. If you're posting a short two sentences, make it informative. Give me something to react to. If what you're doing is moving the story along then I'm happy.
What You Can Expect From Me
You can rely on me to be communicative first and foremost. I will ask any and all questions that occur to me and if I am losing interest I am more likely to talk to you about it rather than ghost you. I fully expect that I will be able to match you in writing lengths and energy, maybe not skill but length/energy for sure. If I cannot I will let you know and hopefully, we can come to an acceptable arrangement. I will respect your character. I understand that this is a cooperative engagement but your character(s) are yours. I will honor that. If you have limitations or rules you can expect them to be followed. I have my own and will treat yours as I would hope you would treat mine. I am new to this site and it has been a while since I've been on a site like this, thusly am still learning the in and outs. I see a lot of people making some well-organized and pretty thread posts. I am not quite there yet but hope to figure it out.
My Preferences
This section is specifically about the smut-to-story ratio I prefer. To me, the most important thing is the story. That is what I am here for but like I said earlier, my goal is to have fun and what's more fun than a little smut from time to time. I will gladly engage in a thread that is a 10/90 smut/story ratio as well as one that is a 70/30 ratio. This is still up for discovery but I think I would find my happy spot somewhere in the 30/70 zone. I have some rules when it comes to this though:

- No toilet play, if you do it in the bathroom, keep it out of our story, please.
- For lack of a better term, no butt stuff. Can't say why, it's just not my forte.
- Nothing underage, not even when it comes to memories.
- I am okay with nonconsensual stuff but will probably need reassurance OOC for my own peace of mind.
I think that covers the main points. I will update as the inspiration strikes but now for the fun part. Ideas for stories and/or character pairings.

Street Rat x Lady/Princess
Knight x Lady/Princess
Warrior x Warrior
Human/God x Goddess
Those are just a few pairings off the top of my head. I'll add more as they come to me.
Story Ideas:
This is less of a story idea and more of a world setting. I've always wanted to write some kind of story where the magic that people use comes from ancient artifacts of unknown origin. Some artifacts are common while others are more rare. From a wooden box that keeps all its contents cold and fresh to a ring that grants invisibility or an indestructible arrow that never misses its intended target.
Set in a medieval world where all sorts of mythical monsters exist. Vampires, werewolves, wendigos, demons, humans, banshees, hydras, succubus, and any number of other kinds. My character would be a werewolf tired of living by the overly strict rules of his pack and embarks out into the world where he meets your character (A monster of your choosing) who is either in the same position or an experienced survivor and together they must survive and explore the world of monsters. Many of these monsters have lore in the real world but in this story, we can make our own rules for them. Does silver hurt? Let's decide that together.
Set in a high fantasy world with technology advanced enough for zeppelins and airships, a low-skilled unregistered human wizard travels the world finding passage on any vessel he can weasel himself onto. His goal is to find and study books of magic and advance his craft. The problem. Unregistered wizards are executed. Why? Because only Elves are permitted to use magic. Why? Because humans and other races in the past have abused the power or so history would have you believe. After an incident during a public event(TBD), MC is injured. YC witnesses him healing his wound. What do you do?
