Jumbled's Request Thread

This thread is intended to draw in any partner that would play a male character for a M • F story, but I am also open to a F • F story depending on the plot. True pronouns of my partner have no bearing on if I will write with them. I will not connect any person to their specific characters. You are a real person, your character is not.

My posting schedule is erratic and requires patience and understanding from any partner. I will not promise to post once a day, or even once a week. There are times it may take me a month to respond. It’s just my reality. I do not accept being guilt-tripped over my response times or the order in which I choose to respond to partners. I will not harass my partners for responses, either.

My reply lengths often land somewhere close to a thousand words—sometimes more, sometimes less. I do not demand word counts from anyone, but I enjoy when a partner is able to match my vibes, contribute to plot appropriately, and keep communication going.

I’ve been writing for a long time—20+ years, because apparently these things called birthdays keep coming along.

I currently work at home as a full-time mom and full-time artist. Both of these are rewarding, but the pay is awful.

Summoning Circle

Iced lattes year round. Photoshop, drawing patterns, icons and more. Creating forum codes. Jokes, especially lame ones. Animals, let me see them. Cool weather with a cozy blanket. Gem stones—I have so many, and still want more. Pretty color palettes and alternative rock/pop music.

Fantasy. It’s often the name of the game. But this can branch off in way too many directions. So let me get specific about the things I am interested in and the things I am not.

I love dark, supernatural, and dangerous witchcraft. Magic and mayhem. Demons, Gods and Demi-Gods. Bonding rituals, shapeshifters, vampires, and maybe even werewolves, or werebears—I like the idea of them having a true animal form as well as a monster one. Fae realms and magical creatures in far away kingdoms, alternate realities and different dimensions.

These themes work especially well for me in some type of scary setting and sinister tones. That’s right, Dark Fantasy or Fantasy Horror. Gloomy atmospheres where things are more threatening than wondrous. Where the protagonists are flawed and morally grey (or worse), yet you root for them to win—these monsters and killers—because you’re aligned with their goals. Explore the more frightening side of magic, power and the societies that thrive around it, and the injuries and injustices that occur because of them.

Modern, Medieval, and Victorian-esque eras are where I thrive. Past tense and third person. As far as face-claims go, I prefer art or descriptions. For Erotic preferences, you may find them below, but I will tell you here, I am looking to write sexy stories and unless it's to the point of being too repetitious because they just tore each other apart three posts ago, I do not want to fade-to-black.

Plain fantasy bores me. If you remove the elements from the plot that I’m excited about—the danger, the magic, the conflict, and yeah, the flirtation and teasing—I will struggle to keep writing. Slice of Life doesn’t have enough of a direction or plot for me and feels too mundane to hold my attention. I have no interest in fanfictions. No Furry pairings for me. In the case of characters that have animal forms, they should not be in them more often than the human one.

My characters are often stubborn, strong willed, and maybe even hot-headed. It really depends on the plot, but I do not enjoy writing as a completely helpless female that is unable to at least try to solve problems on her own. I partner well against anyone that prefers to write as a male character that won't always let her win, that isn't always soft. Being romantic is great, but if their relationship is sweeter than syrup without any fire to back it up, my interest in writing will fizzle just like that flame did.

I have some plot seeds listed below. They aren't set in stone and we can tweak them together if you think writing with me is a fit for you. The plots are just there to give you an idea or make those creative gears turn until we can land on something fun together we can both enjoy. Feel free to message me if you'd like to write.   When starting any story with me, you may use the information in these tabs (they scroll) as a general guide. I do not see the sense in discussing my specific kinks during the initial plotting process because, well, because it feels awkward. We just met! Don't read this wrong. I might choose to write a story that is heavy in erotic moments, even early on, but I don't intend to plan out every sexual encounter that turns me on as part of my world building. Especially not right after we say hello and tell each other our usernames. Let me get comfortable with you as a person, world build, character build, and then we can dive into some of the specific encounters we want to happen that make sense for the story being written.
  
  I do want a steamy story that will still move a plot forward. Typical sex scenes when writing with me will likely last no more than two posts each (I'm just estimating). Other times, we may decide to skip the scene and imply what happened in order to keep from feeling repetitive, as I mentioned above. I'm sorry, but I'm not looking for a strictly fade-to-black story.

She’s a nobody. Lacking finer possessions and described as "average looking" on her good days, she's usually dressed in ragged clothes too large for her frame with hair that's always messy. He’s an aloof warlock that keeps to himself and avoids the watchful eye of The Inner Circle, a council of powerful mages and world leaders. He doesn’t need anyone in his business, his house staff intentionally small to focus on his more taboo research. Unfortunately, a recent sudden death of an employee meant bringing in someone new. Her. The Circle sends word of a scheduled visit to his home, their task meant to pair him with eligible ladies. Avoiding the inconvenience of an unwanted wedding or betrothed, he tells the staff to clean up the new girl, and dress her like a lady proper, so that she may pose as his future bride. Underneath the dirt and mess of hair, her beauty had only been hidden, average or not. Is the electricity between he and the woman more than just good chemistry, or is she hiding powers of her own? After their visitors leave them, she attempts to return to her duties, but he would rather keep her near. Unable to focus fully on his solo work due to stress or distraction, an error is made on his part and a darkness is unleashed before he's prepared to face it. Will he remain stubborn and fight it back alone, or make a deal with this darkness?

She wasn’t one to go out often, but after the awful week she’d had in an unfamiliar place, she decided to blow off some steam, maybe have a one night stand. She was different than the other women he'd known, her scent called out to him from across the room when she walked in. She’d won his attention and it wasn’t long before they were back at his place. There was something about him that made her feel safe, so when he told her to stay, she didn’t try to leave. The morning after, someone he hadn't seen in years came knocking on his front door. Suddenly the two find themselves pulled into his world of conflict and responsibility, something he thought he left behind and she never knew existed in the first place.

He, an underling vampire and servant to his king due to his Master's allegiances, was unprepared to meet this witch and over time he discovered the two have something in common—they both want to be free of the demon king.


A Demon's Wrath:

During the Salem witch trials, a desperate witch cried out for aid her just before they burned her at the stake, and a demon answered. Destroying the town, leaving nothing behind but the witch attached to her spire, he then turned on her. The ropes that bound her shifted into bangles around each of her wrists, though they weighed heavily on her, like a prisoner in shackles. The demon punished her by absorbing her powers within the bracelets, making her nothing more than a powerless witch. After a mysterious box arrived at her door with gold, decorative bangles inside, and an invitation to the family manor, she began to research. But, it wasn't until she slipped on the jewelry that he appeared. Instead of stealing her power like he had done to the first witch, the bangles filled her with the siphoned strength and abilities from every witch in her bloodline, making her incredibly powerful. But only so long as he allowed it. Why? He'd set it up from the very beginning, intending to create the most powerful witch alive. She was his to control. These powers made her hunger for more and he whispered sweet nothings to her while he convinced her to destroy all those who stood in his way.
