Yeah, I had a few different emails that I used which weren't linked to anything other than a nickname, but it still wasn't very anonymous. Also, because you played your screenname, it made it hard to play different characters without a lot of introductions. I moved from Yahoo to Chatalot. I like it because it was still live turn based roleplaying with some OOC chat capability without waiting for a replay like on a forum, but I just expanded from there. Moved into forums and email games. I really moved away from using chat programs for gaming. I write too damn much for those tiny boxes lol.

I moved to a site called Chatango which then, and now, is populated 90% by men, either posing as women, or as themselves, and all just hormonal fucks and unwilling to write more than a couple of sentences. At least on Forums, I have the chance to actually find some people who can write on the same level as me.

But yeah, the only downside is waiting for replies, which obviously come at a slower pace because of irl schedules and such, but I don't mind it. A good story is worth all the wait, despite how impatient I can get XD
