The Showman
WONDERING WHO I AM / MACHINE OR MANNEQUIN​

One part magnanimous maestro, the other a nebulous narrator. Two sides of one coin flipped head over heel to take a chance on fate. Here I am known as Mr. E, and this little slice of the site is the lobby of my mind palace. Blessed with a digital silver-tongue, my proclivity for writing started way back before the lanes of the internet super-highway were even being constructed; and has only progressed from there.

This hobby of mine is an outlet through which I can adopt and try on many different hats, masks, and other such accouterments to facilitate a name and a game. A digital warehouse of pure imagination as one of my favorite showman of the past once touted. While this used to be the foremost hobby and vice, I am older now – with a life that eclipses this passion and only recently did I resurrect it once more from its lengthy hibernation. I expect only perhaps a handful of stories at a time if that – so pardon me if I'm not the swiftest and most expedient of responders.

That being said, what you will see here is my marginal efforts to collate and curate a plethora of roleplay categories for your perusal and interest. Should you find something that strikes your fancy, just do as the title says.

The Stage
IS THIS THE REAL LIFE? / IS THIS JUST FANTASY?​

Formed from the amalgamation of two decades of experience in the collaborative process, I found my voice and it is notably and distinctly a pattern that suits me well. I paint the canvas with a deep love for introspection, emotional gravitas, and scene setting. Almost all of my writing operates in this same fashion before diving into the character rich aspects of thought, word, and deed. The only voices in my head are from the male perspective, and thus all of the roles I write operate by that construct. My ability to write from the female perspective is an absurd insult to the gender, so I abstain. For a better breakdown of my writing prowess and preferences, see the list below.

• Form: Third person past tense (primary) / First person present tense (rarity)
• Pairing: MxF (Sexual) MxF/MxM (Platonic) - a high preference for one-on-one plots, but groups can be agreed upon on a case by case basis
• Theme: Dark Erotica, Dark Romance, Mystery, Adventure, Romantic Tragedy
• Length: 700-1000+ words per post with meaty paragraphs and compelling dialogue
• Type: With Fandoms (depending on which it is), I will either go for Canon or OC, and with Genres it's almost exclusive to be OCs.

I greatly enjoy brainstorming sessions, work shopping ideas, and I've been known to be quite the tempter when it comes persuading my partners with enticement and intrigue. My preferred method of contact is on Discord – so if we start formulating, I'll be glad to invite you to join me there for those chats. (RP is still strictly on the site). One aspect that’s become a habit with my stories is finding RL face claims for all of my characters, and I’m happy to help source images if you need assistance. My photoshop skills are still quite good, but AI is certainly gaining ground as a go-to option.

The Story
IF YOU COULD READ MY MIND LOVE / WHAT A TALE MY THOUGHTS COULD TELL​

Like a tripod, a good story to me has three basic components, which I have amusingly orchestrated into the acrostic of O.C.D.

• Organic: This is the best and most favorable option. Rather than a forced mashing of two puzzle pieces, when I find a match of equal passion and the ideas just come naturally, it's all gravy baby!
• Compelling: Boring stories do nothing to excite. Having no depth, no stakes, and no fun provides nothing more than the stimulation of the ingredients on the back of a a bubble gum wrapper. (If you can unlock the secrets of the universe with that, you're a better person than me)
• Driven: There's gotta be a goal. A reason and a rhyme to keep the story moving, and something to look forward to down the line. Most of my writing is long-term based, and having both short-term and long-term goals really helps move the story along.

As I have matured in my writing, my interests in the explicit nature have also progressed. The signal to noise ratio of story and smut can vary depending on the context, but I do value the story first. Again, the OCD operation falls into play just as much with story as it does with the smut too. If that's not there, it's just exercise at the end of the day, and I get enough of that pushing my luck!

I considered attempting to write out a comprehensive kink list, or setting one up again to link to – but I'm also like lightning, I prefer the shortest path to the ground. So suffice to say that I don't get shocked by much, I'm not even sure in writing if I can be triggered – but overall I respect boundaries. You let me know what you're comfortable with and we can go from there. Each character I write will have their own machinations, so that's how I prefer to articulate them when the time arrives.

Black Bolt x Emma Frost
Genre: Film Noir (1st Person Narrative)
Setting: The Quiet Room
Premise: The trans-dimensional lounge and night club is the Midnight King's latest venture. A 1940's inspired intergalactic hot-spot for entertainment, food, and delight.
The White Queen's interest in this venue is an acquisition proposal to facilitate her own greed in expanding the Hellfire Club.
Thus the temptation of a merger will require all her seduction skills on a man whose voice could destroy it all.
Notable Aspects: Cheating, Seduction, Blackmail.

Spoiler: Test Your Metal

Colossus x Rogue
Genre: Crime/Mafia
Setting: NYC Strip Club and Bratva Front
Premise: He was the Bratva's adopted son, forged from the heat of great loss. She was the untouchable woman who sought the one thing she couldn't have.
An unlikely pair branching out into a new venture, that would elevate both into the Bratva elite. The only man that can touch her, is the one whose heart is as hard as his body.
Will she succumb to the lifestyle of the criminal element, or is her touch enough to warm the heart of the once gentle giant?

Gambit x Black Cat
Genre: Modern Crime (Bonnie and Clyde)
Setting: Various
Premise: He's the guild thief with aspirations to climb the ladder and make a name. She's the heiress with a kleptomania fetish.
Their union is frought with danger, intrigue, spice, and sex. The greater the risk, the greater the con, the more these two want to get it on.
Navigating hedonism, betrayal, and the long arm of the law (and anyone else they piss off), how will they fare?

Spoiler: You're my Gravity

Star-Lord x Gamora
Genre: Grit-Lit Space Opera (with a hint of romance)
Setting: Space
Premise: She's the Princess with a past; an assassin whose a little feral, trying to escape the clutches of her adopted father who wants his weapon back.
He's the brash brigand that also has some major daddy issues of his own. He stole her ship, and she didn't kill him.
Somehow the two have become the best of friends trying to make it in the big wide galaxy.
Their past is on their tail, their relationship is a blend of banter, angst, and at times some sex. Bottom line, they need each other.

Azrael x Talia Al'Ghul
Genre: Corrupted Romance
Setting: Nanda Parbat / Gotham City
Premise: The Batman and his family thought Azrael dead when he'd been shot and thrown over a cliff. However, his body was never recovered - by them. In secret it had been perfectly extracted and Azrael had been healed of those near lethal wounds. What hadn't recovered perfectly was his mental state. A haze of amnesia had washed over him and in that, the league of assassins thought to exploit that fatal flaw for their own purposes. Talia Al'Ghul, daughter of the Demon utilizes her feminine wiles, maternal instinct, and cunning craft to reshape Azrael and provide him with direction under her control and watchful gaze. But what happens when Azrael returns to Gotham, how long can she keep the Angel of Death on a leash?

Lobo x Wonder Woman
Genre: Bounty Hunting Adventure
Setting: Themyscira and Various
Premise: The Main Man's contract is set on the Princess of the Amazons, the mighty and heralded Wonder Woman. Travelling to her home away from home, the Main Man seeks to call her out, and take her by hook or by crook. Though since Lobo is a real sleaze, he'll take a particular joy out of dominating her if the chance arises. The question is, who hired Lobo, because once the contract goes out, unless it's completed or canceled, not even death can stop this unrelenting force of the best of the best intergalactic bounty hunter.
Notable Aspects: Violence, Abduction, Rape, and a whole lotta language.

Spoiler: A Royal Dilemma

Geo-Force x Starfire
Genre: Political Romance
Setting: Various
Premise: Of the three siblings to the Markovia crown, Brion was never favored to wear it. Gregor was the obvious choice, until his untimely demise. With Tara illegitimate and out of the country, Brion must now make the decision of a lifetime. Will he leave the rule of Markovia up to the appointed Baron Bedlam, or take on the royal responsibilities of King? As fate would have it the Tamaranian Princess was also without a mate - and while neither were looking for it, fate steps in to link them together. It's a tale of great decision, and the heavy weight of a crown. The potential entrance of an alien into the family, and a lot of political unrest from a potential villain that might take hold of the country if Brion does not succeed his brother.
Notable Aspects: Political Intrigue, Genuine Romance, long-lasting consequences.

If you've never seen this show, I'd highly recommend it. Twisting and reimagining famous fantasy stories into one epic
that quickly became a sensation for many seasons. If you are however, a fan of the show, I think you'll enjoy
what I have in store for you. For this fandom I like all variations of Canon and OC pairing.
Let's make the author proud!

Spoiler: Merlin

While the show introduced Merlin in later seasons, I have chosen to reject that particular incarnation, and reimagine him in a totally different light, that I basically plucked from the Merlin BBC show instead.

Before the Curse: Instead of the old established protector of Camelot, Merlin is just starting his adventure in a quest to find his destiny in the Kingdom of Albian. He's a seasoned herbalist who operates his magic through instinct, as being born of it specifically. His history actually begins with a midnight interlude from the Lady of the Lake issuing him this lifelong quest, and that places him years later into the Enchanted Forest looking to right wrongs, and heal those that need it. In my head canon, he's got some history with the main cast.

• When Belle needed comfort after giving advice to Dreamy, he came around to talk - and provided her with a room key for the dwarven inn, so that she'd have a place to rest.
• When Granny needed a solution for her grand-daughter's condition, it was Merlin who made the red cloak to keep her safe.
• When Snow White needed something to turn the Queen into something harmless, she received the vial of fairy dust from Merlin in disguise.

During the Curse: Merlin is known as Colin Mason; a chemist in the Emrys Pharmacy. He leads a rather solitary life in an apartment within Storybrooke. He's a shy and introverted guy that abides by routine and order. Each work day he's at Granny's diner for a takeout order, and each night he spends alone, reading and tending to the plants in his apartment. The curse robbed him of his confidence, of his passion to be involved, and stole him from the love of his life. Even more, he never realized his destiny of becoming the consort of Camelot.

Spoiler: Headless Horseman

I was truly dissapointed that never in the entire history of the show was this character even hinted at, let alone brought into the story. So, I'm fixing that!

Before the Curse: Loyal and devoted Black Knight to the Evil Queen; Ichabod Crane has aspirations beyond his service to the crown. Aspirations about a woman he could not have. Despite his rank in the army, it was nothing compared to that of nobility, and she was being courted by someone of such standing. The only way to really compete would to be granted title, deed, and land. For that he needed a promotion and he brought the matter before her highness. Regina was willing to acquiesce should be prove himself to her. The mission; enter a realm in which an object of great importance was being kept, retrieve said item and return it to her. The problem; this land was controlled by the Red Queen of Hearts - and Crane was subsequently caught in the heist, and as was her custom, Ichabod Crane lost his head. That however was not the end of his story - as a beheading in Wonderland didn't kill the victim. Instead the head operated a totem of control and as he was shipped back in such a state, Regina took control of the Knight - turning him into her sword of judgement as the headless horseman. There are many instances in the Enchanted forest where he could have been dispatched and it might be fun to mention those.

During the Curse: Geoffrey Bridgers, or better known as Mr. Bridgers is the Principal of the Storybrooke Elementary School. He is not a warm person in the slightest, nor is he entirely cruel. He's an efficient man with a shorter than average fuse when it comes to stress and frustration. He's there, but always also absent minded, like he lost his head. He also suffers from insomnia, which keeps him up at all hours, and when things get especially irritating for him he tends to drive about the town in his black mustang. Often he feels compelled to park at the toll bridge at evening to see if anyone comes in or out of that entrance and exit from the town - contemplating leaving himself, but never does.

Unformed OC x Wednesday Addams
Premise: What if an adult Wednesday Addams was slowly corrupted into a Stepford Wife of a serial killer?
Plot: Wednesday has grown up into a fully fledged ghoul of a woman. Her razor wit is just as deadly as her deathly machinations, but now laced with all the seduction of a Black Widow. Many have fallen into her web, never to be heard from again. A chance meeting in a graveyard (perhaps even the family crypt) crosses path with a lone figure burying a body. Was it still twitching in that bag? Curious and intrigued, her approach and confrontation is the spark that would send both of them into a new paradigm. How do these two interact? How does this serial killer navigate the landscape to turn the femme fatale into an obedient mate?
Notable Aspects: Fear Play, Role-Reversal, Family drama.

Spoiler: Tri-Forced

Ganondorf x Zelda
Premise: What if Hyrulian law required the marriage of Princess Zelda to the Demon King himself?
Plot: The Hero of Time has failed. He's either gone and disgraced, or he was executed. Ganondorf had eliminated the greatest threat to his reign, but there was still the subjugation of Hyrule that needed his attention. Instead of a vast battle that would level the plains with his two pieces of the Tri-Force at his disposal; he turns to an ancient Hyrule royal decree. An arranged marriage was a binding contract, and even Princess Zelda couldn't refuse the terms and conditions. Having to cite the ancient marriage oath to her despised enemy, now the power struggle to keep any silver of Hyrule safe from his corrupting force is only in her hands.
Notable Aspects: Arranged Marriage, Enemies to Lovers, Corruption.
