It's well into the 21st century, or so we thought. For, hidden in the vast depths of the world, are creatures as old as time itself. Characters that we've grown up with, taught to fear and to despise. But what if those same characters became our saviours? The "despicable," "evil" legends gathering to save the society in which we live? Let's find out, shall we?

Now now, we all know the stories, tales of the leprechaun, the gruesome bogey man, the tricky genie. The list goes on, unfortunately for us. But what about the myths of Count Dracula? The terrifying truths of Rasputin? What if we had the headless horseman save a princess instead of a knight and shining armour? That would be quite a plot twist, now wouldn't it? Well that's what I'm all about, unpredictability.

Okay, okay I'm done rambling. Let's get this bread. So the basic idea is to assemble a jumbled team of folklore/tale misfits- essentially the "villains" of each tale your parents have used to scare you into good behaviour. Sort of like the avengers but with more traditional villains who will at the end of the day, save society's ass. I'd like to think that the plot would start off with maybe an agency or some government operation aiming to debunk and or gather each of them one by one, traveling the world to meet them in their home lands. Or, y'know, they could be regular day to day people, a hot barista, or a clever street magician. It is up to them to deduce where exactly these "villains" are hiding. This'll be fun.

I'm going to give y'all a lot of fee rein here, because every culture background/country has their own personified versions and their very own stories to tell. Meaning that you can base your ideas of off them, or simply provide a new perspective. However, I would like to stray away from the whole modern werewolves/vampires because this thread isn't about them. I want to include rich history, offer a more compelling back story then what we've been told. Not some humans who turn into furries and can't eat garlic.

In fact, if y'all need any ideas, I've conjured up a list for you. However, I'd very much prefer your characters to be a human/humanoid version of whatever creature you desire, but that expectation can obviously change to better suit the rp.

***¿LISTOS?***
  • Leprechaun
  • Siren
  • Genie
  • Count Dracula
  • The bogey man (or woman)
  • Medusa
  • Grim reaper
  • Siren
  • Grendel's mother (or father)
  • Basilisks
  • Djinns
~Characters we have~
  • El Sombreron- CasualAdventurer
  • The bogeyman- Robbie Aldridge
This list is pretty basic, but y'all get the point. Yet more can be found here: Villains Of Folklore

Anyway, this is just an interest check, I'll post more info about the plot/characters once everything's settled.

Looking for more interest

I would like to join! I'm thinking about being a smaller version of the evil godlike creature Cthulhu if that's fine.

I'm kind of hesitant just because Cthulhu is known to be godlike. And I don't wanna have one character be much more powerful than the others Y'know? BUT if you're able to mellow YC out a bit, than PLEASE JOIN

Heyyy Robbbbb do we have enough people?
I think just two more people would be needed. Or else I would post double-characters, but ya girl don't have the time.

Anywayyy, everyone who's still in, say "Aye"
