How's it going, my fellow writers? I hope you can forgive me for my short introduction. I swear to you that I am the most interesting person that I have ever met in my life.
My name is Sybillene (which is pronounced as [sybil-lean]), but you can call me Syl for short. I am an experienced, literate, quality-over-quantity writer who has been in and out of the role-playing/social-writing scene since the age of fourteen. I've had associated myself with various sites in the past, but as those sites later died out (due to a lack of activity or a massive influx of members who wanted smut, smut, and nothing but the smut), and the fact that we live in the Year of our Dark Lord 2020 and I am considered an "essential worker" during the COVID-19 crisis, I am missing and down-right craving a return to a hobby that has been a fun escape from my bland, mundane reality.
My post length, even though I do stick with the "quality over quantity" motto for everything I write, widely varies on the content given and what creative liberties I have in my response; which means I can range from a paragraph, a couple of paragraphs, to even novella-type replies that can be long-winded at times.
My favorite genres are fantasy (with high and low magic systems), horror, comedy, and romance. I do not desire romance in all of my stories, and I am, in no way, a fan of pure smut. In fact, I have never been in a smut-focused story before-- so I am not sure if I am able to write sex scenes in an alluring and arousing way; but romance is cool... unless you are a fan of strong, loyal friendships... then that's waaaaaaaaaaay cooler to me!
Anywho! Aside from my passion for writing, my hobbies are reading (currently reading "The Wheel of Time" for the first time), playing video games (currently playing "Horizon: Zero Dawn"), and watching YouTube videos. So if you want to chat with me-- whether to collab, talk about our hobbies, or just want to make casual conversations-- my inbox is always open! ^_^
