[EDIT TO COME]

But feel free to post your own character sheets however you'd like. I'll be posting a link to some powers to help give some inspiration, but I'm pretty open to whatever you come up with. Please try not to copy other characters' powers, at least until we have a wide variety. If questions arise, feel free to contact me. I welcome all questions and suggestions.

Also, nothing specific is required in your character sheet aside from noting your power. You don't have to give an exact detailing of your ability (or abilities), but please try to give us the simplest idea of what power your character has.

I think it goes without saying, but no god-modding.

Markus Peterson, the 'son' of Bjorn and Hilda Peterson, is a genetically engineered human, whose father was descended from Nazi scientists working on a super soldier program. The Third Reich had obtained the human genome (as well as the genomes of other terrestrial life) with the aid of malicious extraterrestrial aliens, as well as the instructions on how to manipulate genes. However, the Reich did not totally trust the aliens and the scientific information was hidden and then lost, until it was rediscovered by genetic researcher Dr. Bjorn Peterson. Bjorn Peterson's zeal was infectious to his wife as they dreamed of creating a son who would become a star athlete, who would become rich, support them in their old age and start the next evolution of the human race. The pair modified their own sperm and ovum, created new life in a test tube and then implanted Markus into Hilda. Markus was born just under nine months later.

However, Markus was forced to, or chose to, stay out of the limelight. He didn't want to be poked and prodded by scientists for the rest of his life. Also, there were rumors of other people with super-powers. Some of these people were altruistic and helpful and they were called 'heroes'. Some were more personally motivated and so they were called 'villains'. Markus couldn't imagine a life where, if it became known that he was more than human, people would always be calling on him for help. Best that he should try to quickly acquire wealth and then retire, if possible.

Markus recruited some young people to be his 'gang'. Their tactics would be that he'd provide the muscle to go where the loot was, they would transport the goods and, if necessary, Markus would distract the police and any heroes that showed up. He chose the moniker, "Jötnar", because he superstitiously felt unworthy of calling himself Aesir or Vanir. Considering the rumors that he heard about other super beings, calling himself a god and then being defeated would be very embarrassing.

Name: Cynthia 'Cyn' Voth

Age: 29

Gender: Female

Powers: Elemental Transformation: Cynthia can turn herself and any inorganic material she's wearing or holding into Argon gas. While in gaseous form, she's insubstantial and can pass through any barrier that isn't vacuum sealed. While she cannot 'fly' in her gaseous form, she can travel up sheer surfaces at her usual walking speed and can glide short distances. Argon is denser than the standard atmosphere, and she will sink accordingly.

History: Solo heiress to the Voth Pharmaceutical fortune, 'Cyn' Voth is a well-known, jet setting socialite with a dedicated paparazzi following and a number of 'scandals' clouding her public image. Unlike the typical 'ditzy' narrative common amongst her peers, Cyn is known for being unapologetically sarcastic and playful. Her public demeanor is 'Yes, I have vast resources that I inherited through no effort on my own part. It's awesome. So sorry you weren't born into a dynasty.' Her sparring with the media casts her in a villainous 1%-er role with rampant substance abuse, ill-advised relationships, and frequent run ins with the law for petty offenses. Less well known is her charitable exploits, donating huge amounts of her family's fortune to causes she considers worthy, specifically targeting the disadvantaged or society's outcasts. Instead of turning her charitable impulses into media circuses, she operates anonymously through cut-outs and shell corporations, although there have been a few exposes on her hidden 'soft' side. Of course, good works are boring, so who pays attention to a wordy piece in the Atlantic about childrens hospitals?

A much deeper secret is how Cynthia Voth has moonlighted for nearly a decade as a superhuman corporate spy and saboteur, costing multinational corporations billions, if not trillions, of dollars under the unimaginative name 'Argon'.

Character Name: Irrompible ("Unbreakable")

Alignment: Hero

Civilian Name: Diego Rodriguez-Rivera

Age: 19

Sex: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Description: Human, ethnic Puerto Rican Hispanic American, 5' 8" tall, 175 lbs., athletic build, deep tan complexion, shoulder length black hair, short trimmed beard and mustache, dark brown eyes.

Powers:
Damage Resistance
(skin cannot be burned or cut or penetrated, bones cannot be broken, can be bruised by 1,300 pounds or more of blunt force (elite boxer)), linked to a magic ring (which can only be sensed by powers that detect magic).

Increased Strength (can lift 1,000 pounds, throwing force of 2,206 Newtons, striking force of 1,250 psi), linked to a magic ring (which can only be sensed by powers that detect magic).

Olympic Level Boxing Skill.

Equipment: Backpack, Flash-Dampening Goggles, leather gloves, Handcuffs/Zip Ties, Pocket Radio Scanner with Bluetooth.

Brief Biography:
Diego Rodriguez-Rivera's life changed when he befriended Blanca Loco, a crazy homeless woman who was believed by many to be a bruja (witch). Blanca Loco was old and dirty, but she didn't smell. Maybe it was the way that Diego's parents raised him, but Diego felt pity for Blanca and would bring her any leftovers from his family's meals, sometimes not eating all of his own food. Blanca would regularly bless Diego and even though he didn't always eat well, he grew to be quite a strong young man.

One night Blanca Loco told Diego that she would not be able to keep renewing the blessings that she often gave him, but told him that she would soon be dying. She presented Diego with what she called a magic ring, telling him that it would be extremely hard for anyone to ever physically hurt him, as long as he was wearing it and as long as he didn't become evil (Diego didn't know it, but Loco Blanca had lied about the ring not working if he turned to evil). She told him that only men use the power of the ring and she had been looking for good man to entrust it to and she was giving it to him, so that it's power would not be wasted or that it would end up in a pawn shop as just a piece of jewelry. After that, Diego never saw Blanca Loco again.

Diego's ring worked just like Blanca Loco had promised. But now what should Diego do? He wouldn't use the ring for selfish purposes or it would lose it's power. If he became a police officer, soon everyone would know that he had a super power, plus he liked the life that he had in the barrio. Diego decided that he would use his powers to look out for his neighbors. He didn't want to put his family and friends in danger, so he would wear a mask. with special goggles. He didn't choose his superhero name, but the neighbors saved and the criminals that he stopped started calling the new masked hero, "Irrompible" ("Unbreakable").
