    about me

I am Rosalie. I'm the giggle in the dark when we're supposed to be quiet, the squeal over your shoulder and the long legs skipping about the morning in your oversized shirt. I am untamed hair and southern drawl, bourbon and full lipped kisses interrupting your train of thought when the world is too heavy on your shoulders. I can also be Rosie, if you're trying to seduce me [into writing with you]. Rose when I'm in trouble.

    • β €I predominantly play Female roles and currently don't have the energy to double in any masculine form at this time. I do however enjoy writing supporting male characters, so that is not off the table,
    • β €I write in third person and am a bit rusty. Though I'm returning to writing fairly recently, I aim for a minimum of three paragraphs but can give you so much more. I've been writing for over 10 years, whatever you give me I can reciprocate.
    • β €I don't fade to black. I'm writing it steamy, nasty, filthy. What I won't do, is allow that to take over the plot. I like stories with substance, I like tension and longing. I don't want it easy, and I want it to make sense.
    • I am in the CST time zone, and as I ease back into writing I want you to know that I can get unexpectedly busy. I'm in a transitional period in my life, and even though it's temporary, I would say it might be like that for at least a month from the time I'm writing this. I am someone who likes to chitchat OOC, so hopefully I can keep you in the loop rather than abruptly disappearing. Be on the lookout for a post, gods willing, two posts a week. Don't be afraid to poke me, just don't poke too hard or I'll bite ya finger.
Thank you for checking out my thread, I hope we can become friends and partners. You'll learn that I do bite, but it's with love. c; You'll like it.

    about you

Shoes off in the house, you know the rules. I made your favorite, now sit down and lemme feed you. c; We're gonna lay down some house rules.
    • β €You'll provide at least three detailed paragraphs where the context permits, with grammar that isn't too distracting. I am not the writing police, and I will also make typos from time to time. I would just like you to take your time, you know? I know some scenes sort of just give two paragraphs, I'm not a monster. I just feel it to be rare and shouldn't be all the time.
    • β €Ideally, you are in charge of being the bitter to my sweet. I'm good at devoted, romantic, hopeless. I'm hoping you're good at corruption, manipulation, possession. Hell, make me cry and throw in some tragedy. I just want you to be the black coffee for my sugar, the thorn to my... rose, hehe.
    • β €I would like consistency and complexity in your character. No cookie-cut characters, we're not aiming for perfection. Self explainatory, hm?
    • I'm going to lie and tell you I'm ghost friendly, because I know shit happens and I am not innocent either. So, by all means, do what you gotta do. That does not mean I won't be over here pouting though ~

Born from Mercy, Kept by Hunger
In a future torn apart by war and corruption, collapsing nations blur the line between morality and survival. MC, a young Battlefield Nurse serves within makeshift hospitals overflowing with the wounded and dying. To her peers, she is fragile and haunted by the brutality of her work... never quite steady, never normal. Unbeknownst to them, she is something far worse in her own eyes; a newly turned Vampire, navigating an excruciating thirst, an insatiable hunger for the very blood she is sworn to save.

Determined to resist what she's become, MC devotes herself to the art of restraint, faith, and service as she clings to the belief that if she saves enough lives, she may still be worthy of forgiveness. Her very existence is the cause of a much quieter war beneath the one raging outside the tents.

Fragile control begins to waver when she encounters YC, a soldier who treats her not as broken, but as human. He becomes a steady presence amid chaos, someone who sees warmth in her where others see weakness. Their bond deepens in stolen moments between battles, even as she keeps the truth of her nature hidden, fearing what he would become in her presence... and what she might do to him.

No war is without sacrifice, and as they both escalate and the boundaries of survival collapse further, the Nurse is forced to confront the impossible: Whether salvation lies within resisting what she is and choosing love in a world that is actively dying or surrendering to death's cold and lonely embrace.

    The Softest Chain
    MC
was never meant to be part of this world, but without realizing it, she already was. It was once innocent in intention. A date that feels expensive and carefully planned, a private restaurant, the quiet ride in the car that felt too polished to be casual. Everything felt intentional, almost in a way that felt like being placed into a scene rather than being invited into one. She throws concern to the back of her mind; this was the life of a desired woman. She tells herself it's fine. Still hers to navigate.

But she's not really there for the man she came with, she is there because she is useful to someone else.

A rival gang has painted the night around a different purpose. The man sitting across from her at the red clothed table is not the target. He is only part of the structure holding the scene together. The real objective is a man not even present, a man known for being impossible to predict. Quiet in a way that makes people uncomfortable. Controlled in a way that makes mistakes feel rare.

YC, he... does not move loudly in the world, but when he does, things end.

MC is meant to be the thing that moves him.

Not through brute force, but presence and timing. Wrong place, perfect time. When the killing happens, it is clean and precise and is even... Calm. Like it had been long decided on. One moment the room was pretending to be normal, and the next, someone is dead on the floor in front of her. The silence that followed was crushing. And beyond this room, beyond those who arranged this meeting, someone is watching her reaction. Not as collateral or an accident but as information. He's noticed her.

She is not removed from the situation, no, she will sit in it for as long as he allows.

He is not someone who enters rooms the way others do. There will be no announcement or interruption, no shift in ambience that demands attention. It simply becomes clear, in hindsight, that he was always part of the equation. YC is the kind of man people speak of only carefully, if they must at all. Not because he is loud, but because he is final.
YC does not look at her immediately, but when he does, it is not curiosity in the usual sense. It is slower than that, measured, like he is attempting to confirm something that has already been placed in front of him. The room, the murder, even the silence that followed ... all of it settles differently in his awareness. And in that quiet adjustment, MC understands something she does not have words for yet. She was not just present for an event that night. She was present for him.

    current cravings

I so badly want to world-build with someone, specifically for two different plots I can't seem to get off the ground. I want a Regency era Kingdom-based story that is as complicated as it is beautiful, and a Mafia story that is dark and passionate. I'm hoping for a partner that will be as excited as I am to create entire worlds with depth from these two plots, but it doesn't have to be one partner. I think I have the capacity to accept two partners at this time.

I write very feminine characters, whether they are submissive or a bit of a brat. I like characters that make yours work for it, talk back, piss'em off. I like writing against dominant characters, stoic, strong, very masculine.

    • kingdoms (arranged marriage, forbidden, lots of longing, angst, class differences)
    • mafia (potentially violent themes, alcoholism, possession, abuse of power, passionate hot hot hot!!)
    • angels and demons, religious themes (potential world building?? kingdoms??) hell even slice of life, make it paranormal
    • gods/deities, mythology or made up?
    • supernatural beings (i love a cliche, i'm not sorry AT ALL!! vampires, witches, werewolves, ya mama, anybody! i joke heheeeheskjfdlkj)
    • space travel/exploring?? i'm thinking Avatar-esque, maybe some OC situations even... i haven't thought this one out
