about me
You may call me Rosalie. Rosie if you find you might adore me, Rose if I'm in trouble. I turn twenty-eight when the leaves fall, and the cryptids begin to wake. I am a lover of love, I enjoy fantasy, historical, sometimes modern. I can write long, and whatever you give me I can reciprocate. I can write medium-short if the story calls for it. I am quite understanding in that way. Not every scene needs to be multiple pages long. I consider myself literate, and I enjoy a mostly literate partner. So long as the bones of the writing aren't distracting, I can enjoy the art. I have been writing for over a decade, and you'll find that I write best in feminine, often female, roles. I can produce male or masculine side characters, but I prefer them to be side characters. Rarely I may be interested in doubling, but it normally occurs during a writing drought.
I try to be patient, I know life gets busy... but I greatly appreciate a notice if you will be away, or if you are disinterested. I will do my best to let you know as well, and I will be a bit disappointed if our story if left on a cliffhanger.

about you
I love writing with people who are genuinely excited to create together. I'm looking for mutual brainstorming, initiative, and a little enthusiasm beyond the actual repliesβsomeone who has preferences, asks questions, offers ideas, and is willing to build something with me rather than simply saying "whatever you want works." I don't need long OOC replies, but I do enjoy expansive thinking, and if your communication style is mostly one-liners or short bursts, we may not be the best match. I'm also quite intentional about my characters, so while I welcome collaborative expansion, I do ask that major backstory, personality traits, motivations, or defining aesthetic choices are discussed with me first. If a character's established vibe doesn't resonate with you, I'd much rather you tell me than try to reshape them into something you'd prefer. I love creating mood boards, playlists, and getting a little too excited over our stories and OOC conversations, so I naturally gravitate toward partners who enjoy that kind of creative chemistry, too. I especially love characters who are layered, flawed, morally gray, or emotionally intense, and I'm always a sucker for yearning, romance, tension, and emotional intimacy with a little darkness and messiness woven in. I'm not looking for perfect characters or perfectly idealized dynamics; I want stories that feel alive, and I want us both to have a hand in making them that way. And if the chemistry isn't there, I'd rather we communicate and move on kindly than keep investing in something that isn't working. We all deserve writing partners and stories that inspire us, and I want that for both of us.

The Black Orchid
New Orleans, 1700s
F x M x M
In the heart of New Orleans stands The Black Orchid, an elegant and discreet tavern and private club owned by a pair of wealthy twin brothers (Played by You) whose influence reaches considerably farther than the walls of their establishment.
To the patrons, the brothers are simply successful businessmen; wealthy, impeccably connected, and mysteriously private. They are known for conducting business after dark, maintaining an immaculate establishment, and having an uncanny ability to make problems disappear.
They have been quietly building their empire in New Orleans for years.
MC works at The Black Orchid, making her living behind the bar and on the floor. She's learned how to keep the patrons entertained: remembering their favorite drinks, laughing at their jokes, flirting just enough to encourage another round, and knowing precisely when to walk away. The work is not glamorous, but she is good at it.
The twins are familiar faces around the club. MC knows they are wealthy, powerful, and clearly accustomed to getting what they want, but she knows little else about them. She has no idea what they truly are. However, that changes one night when a male patron crosses a line.
What began as drunken flirting becomes increasingly aggressive. MC attempts to handle the situation herself, but as the man's behavior escalates until, in a moment of rage, she draws a firearm from nearby and shoots him.
The Black Orchid falls silent.
The twins are both present.
Twin A immediately takes the gun from MC and assumes control of the immediate situation. Twin B surveys the room, the frightened patrons, and the other women working in the club.
The murder is terrible for business, but the twins have a more pressing question: What is worse for businessβ a dead patron, or a patron who makes the women who work for them afraid to come to work?
The brothers have decided.
The man's death is transformed into an unfortunate accident. His body disappears. The room is brought under control. The patrons are persuaded to forget exactly what they witnessed. And before the night is over, Twin A has cleaned MC's gun of her fingerprints and kept it for himself.
MC is left shaken and confused by the twins' reaction. She expected punishment, dismissal, or perhaps the police. Instead, the men protect her.
The following evening, the police arrive at The Black Orchid after someone reports a shooting. The twins calmly insist that they know nothing about a woman, a murder, or a gun. The employees repeat the same story. The frightened patrons suddenly remember nothing useful.
The police eventually leave.
Only then does MC begin to understand that the twins possess a kind of influence that money alone cannot explain.
And when Twin A produces her cleaned firearm and reminds her that she was never supposed to have it in the first place, MC realizes that whatever these men are involved in, it is far beyond the ordinary world she thought she knew.
The Black Orchid becomes the center of an increasingly dangerous entanglement between MC and the brothers. As she continues working at the club, she begins noticing things she cannot explain: the twins' strange habits, their unnatural composure, their apparent immunity to time, their ability to influence people, and the fact that neither man ever seems to be where an ordinary person would expect them to be during daylight.
The more MC becomes involved with the brothers, the more difficult it becomes to separate their business from the darker world hidden beneath New Orleans.
Eventually, the truth can no longer remain concealed.
The story follows MC as she navigates the dangerous world surrounding The Black Orchid, caught between two extraordinarily powerful brothers whose relationship with her develops in very different ways. Their business, their enemies, their secrets, and their supernatural existence gradually become impossible for her to ignore.
The central tension is no longer simply whether MC can survive being pulled into the twins' world.
It is whether a human woman can find a place within a world that was never meant for herβand what the twins will do when protecting her begins to conflict with the rules they've lived by for centuries.
