Hello and welcome to my Request Thread! This here is obviously what it's supposed to be. I have many years of experience of roleplaying. Been roleplaying since somewhere in high school (I'm 33 now). And since then, have played all sorts of characters for all sorts of stories. I love detail, so I tend to type out longer responses and try my best to avoid short or one-liner posts. I know in certain situations, short posts are unavoidable. As long as they help drive the story and aren't a sign of the story getting stale, they're passable. I am a roleplayer that can play any gender or race and as well do multi-character roleplays. I much prefer multi-character roleplays, but also perfectly fine with the focus being on just two characters. And also okay with 1v1 roleplays or roleplays with more than 2 parties, with 5 or 6 being the most. Anything more than that, count me out. Experienced roleplayers are not a recommendation for me, but I do prefer a little experience. Sorry, anyone who's just starting out. Unless we're doing a roleplay as an exercise for you to learn, I prefer to do a story with experienced players. I also do not like stories that are purely for the sexual fun of it. I love structure, story and all that. Some sexual situations are fine. But pure smut is not for me, sorry. And for any story that does have sexual situations, I don't want that sex to be there just to be there. If I wanted that, I'll just do a one-shot. With all that out of the way, here's my likes, dislikes, schedule and some ideas!

My schedule:
I work 4 days a week, each a 10 hour shift, Wed-Fri 7:30AM-6PM. Don't expect anything in the mornings, but you can expect some time from me in the evenings after work. I'll obviously be more frequent on my days off Sun-Tue. However, I will occasionally be working an extra shift on Tuesdays. I can keep my RP partner(s) informed of that no problem, as it happens. This is all PST (Pacific Standard Time).

What I like:
- Action
- Adventure
- Horror (includes psychological, slow burn, mind bending, cosmic, biblical, and more)
- Suspense/thriller
- Sci-fi
- Comedy (but not on its own, must be accompanied with one of these other genres)
- Psychological
- Drama
- Mystery
... And more probably that I haven't thought of.

What I don't like:
- Slice of life
- Romance (At least, not pure romance. It must be accompanied with another genre and not like 90% of the story. The film The Adjustment Bureau is a great example of what I like here)
- Pure smut

Ideas:

1. Some few hundred years after humankind has breached interspace, the United Federation was formed and humans thrived on colonized planets and various space stations around the intergalactic universe. Along with the foundation of the UF, all records of Earth were mysteriously erased and any knowledge of it kept secret for unknown reasons, except for vague mentions of it toward where humans came from in schools. Fast forward another few hundred years, the year 655 A.E. (After Earth), an exploratory vessel stumbles upon a small collection of journals, the last known records of Earth's existence. With their request to explore these journals denied and a heavily emphasized plea to never explore it by the UF, the vessel goes against the Federation to go ahead with this new endeavor to figure out the secrets of mankind. Why was Earth abandoned? Why were all records of it wiped clean? What's still there? Do humans still live there? The questions burned and the answers must be sought.... This RP can accept one or two partners (plus myself of course) and may require multiple characters from each member. The plot of this story is made up as we go. What will our characters find on Earth? Why does the Federation try to hide it? Was it war? An invasive species that took over the planet? The near death of the planet caused by human error? This, we aim to find out.


2. Project Paint

A story heavily influenced by music (primarily hip-hop/rap, but can also feature other music) and loosely inspired by movies like Baby Driver, Tracers, Brick Mansions and other similar films and stories. In a major city (Either NYC/Manhattan, LA, Chicago or wherever, can be decided upon planning; can also be ambiguous and left up to the reader), a new player (played by me) joins a gang of graffiti artists and bank robbers called Project Paint (I will also be playing the boss of this gang). A considerably sized gang that has made its mark on the city. As the story progresses, tensions begin to rise in the gang as trust and loyalty become hard issues. This story will require multiple characters, with some dying throughout, so I hope to find a partner or two that can do that and are okay with some of their characters dying. There will be rival gangs and police characters, too. This story has an end goal, but we can take our time getting there, of course. This story will be a little experimental, as throughout it, we will be posting various tracks in various spots to fit the scene. This can have three people (including myself) on the story, but no more than that. This one might be a bit of a big project but I think it might be fun.

An idea for a short roleplay.

The end of the world is fast approaching. A large asteroid has been observed to be on a direct course with the Earth about a year ago. Secret projects have been taking place to try and curve the rock's trajectory. Now, as a specially selected team have just been sent out to the asteroid, astrologists have officially warned the rest of the world, there are only 6 weeks left until impact, with very little hope that the team would succeed. This is a story that will involve multiple characters, just like my previous ideas, but all of them separated into a few different stories playing out at the same time in this roleplay.

For this roleplay, definitely looking for someone who is able to do multiple characters, as well as able to switch between the segmented stories in this roleplay, as we go through the last moments of mankind together. At least two of these stories include someone who has had a terrible run in with the mafia, and a couple of people who have been into each other for a long time, deciding to take this time to finally push things along with the idea that at least they should be happy before the end. There's also the story of the specialized team sent out to the asteroid. There's room for a couple other stories that can be made up as we plan. In this story, a lot of things will be allowed (within site and global rules of course), as any semblance of civilized life crumbles, the closer we get to the end. How the story ends will be up to us.
