As the title suggests, this is a step outside of my comfort zone. That's not to say that I find the content held here uncomfortable, just that this type of forum and interaction is a personal first.
On that note, my firsthand experience with roleplay in this sense is somewhat limited, and none at all in terms of the more risqué. Not due to a lack of interest mind you, more circumstance and environment. I suspect I shall be somewhat adrift, floundering if you will, as I navigate the avenues available here. What I've read so far has been intriguing enough to dip my toes in with this introduction.
Of myself, I am unsure just yet as to what is pertinent as of yet beyond my hopes to find those of like mind and engage in an evolving narrative, be it provocative or not. I do not write by trade or profession, rather as a creative medium and form of escapism. As a result I suspect I'd be likened to an amateur if that. I learned somewhat recently that I have Aphantasia, which sounds far more fantastical than it is. It seems obvious in retrospect that it is not common and is in fact, abnormal, but it was never something I really pondered on much before. I bring it up as I find it fitting that when one can not visualize the world through image, the world becomes remembered through words and ideas, It's shaped the way I think and has me drawn to written exchange.
