[ABOUT ME]

• You can call me Thalasso, or Thal for short. I use they / them pronouns.
• My timezone is GMT+8. Our active times may very rarely coincide.
• I'm 22 years old. I'm a student supposedly in my final year of university. Things can get busy, but I'll let you know if I can't reply.
• I've been roleplaying for about 7+ years at this point, although I took a hiatus for a while. I'm a traveler returning.
• I like to draw, read, and play video games. I'm a big horror fan.
• I'm friendly! I swear.

[MY WRITING]

• I like plot-focused stories. I'm not averse to writing sex scenes, but it's not generally what I'm outright looking for in an RP.
• I'm comfortable with playing characters of either gender. I have no preference one way or the other.
• I usually write about 3-5 chunky paragraphs a post, much longer for scene-setting posts, shorter for fast-paced or action-heavy posts. I'd appreciate a similar amount of detail and length from my partner.
• My favorite genres include: Fantasy (High or Low), Science Fiction, and Cyberpunk. I also love horror themes.
• I don't roleplay fandoms.
• I'm very flexible with my plot ideas. If you have an idea, don't hesitate at all to tell me.

• I don't play furries or anthros. I'm willing to play were-creatures, if it fits the setting.
• No incest. No toilet play. On the matter of other kinks, ask me privately.
• I'm very tolerant with violence and gore. Still, it's best to ask beforehand so we're on the same page.

[PLOTS]

• The Academy Dropouts (Fantasy): Upon reaching the age of eighteen, a very small fraction of the population develop magical powers. When discovered, they are taken from their families and sent to 'the Academy' where they undergo strict and grueling training in the use of their powers. Upon graduating, they are highly coveted by royalty and nobility as court mages. An air of obscurity hangs over the fate of those who don't make it. Our characters are two students of the Academy, who, purposefully or otherwise, do not conform to their system. (This is a story about outliers, and the systems that hate that they exist. My idea for this is still very nebulous, and I'm open to your input!)
• An Uneasy Truce (Science Fiction): MC is a civilian working for the oppressive, authoritarian Empire. YC is a member of a rebel group. Their respective space ships come into contact and shots are fired. The encounter ends with the two ships crashing into a nearby uninhabited planet. MC's and YC's escape pods land close to one another, and they form an uneasy truce in order to survive long enough to find a way off-planet. (This is a story of two characters with widely differing experiences and ideologies learning to see their common humanity. Or something like that.)
• Heavy is the Head (Fantasy): The King has been mysteriously murdered. Although there is no direct evidence to support this, his younger brother (MC) is suspected to be behind it. The brother has recently returned from training as a mage, and the King's murder was evidently done by magical means. Still, after supposedly proving his innocence, the crown passes to MC, and he is desperate for aid in a role he was never prepared for. (Lots of possibilities for this one. Your Character could be the King's vengeful lover, a manipulative and ambitious member of the court, someone with incriminating knowledge looking to blackmail the brother? All of the above? This is a story of magic and intrigue.)
