Tropes: Arranged marriage, slow burn, workplace tension

Setting:
Fantasy world with a medieval aesthetic (no tech).

My OC:
Xiembantointh, Xiem for short, is a white dragon with ice powers. In this world there are many races and dragons have their own secondary form that they can choose from (humans, elves, etc.) Most on the continent of Immether know Xiem well, for he presents as being a helpful human with a construction business (Nildran Construction Company). He is a widower and keeps his heart guarded.

Secrets: Hiding the fact that she is royalty hiding from her family and running away from an arranged marriage.

Basic plot outline:

• 
  Xiem comes across the runaway princess and offers to help her find her way in this new land she is unfamiliar with.
• He would show her how to hunt and bring her to the colder climate areas of the continent to help her thrive. Being a deep sea dragon, she would be more acclimated to the cold weather and frozen lake.
• He would invite her to spend Yule Eve with his family and other dragons he is friends with.
• Xiem offers her a job (either receptionist or helping with construction)
• After she confesses who she really is and what she is running away from, Xiem would promise to keep her safe as long as she wished to be free from the tyranny of her father.
• Once Xiem easily dispatches of a couple of bounty hunters come to take princess back, they are paid a visit from her father who threatens war against Immether unless Xiem marries the runaway princess.
• Only if the princess is okay with that would Xiem agree, but his heart and affection isn't easily won for he still mourns his wife.
