History of The Blood Rift.
Thousands of years ago everyone had the same red blood,and then the great wars started. Millions upon millions died,red blood stained the Earth. The war still waged for 20 years straight,then a mysterious group of people arrived on every side of the war.Their powers rivaled that of gods as they used the elements against the fighting nations,forcing them to surrender,and chose peace. These powerful humans remained with the regular people,and began to even have families with them.Resulting in the blood of today's world.The nations still scuffle here and there,but remember the wrath of their ancestors.

Bloods of the World
The system of blood is cruel to most,limiting their options for work,and wealth.
Black(Upper class)- people with black blood are the highest in the pecking order,having great magical prowess,though they are very rare.They are able to directly manifest their abilities,which are inherited from their parents. The draw back is if they strain themselves,which is easy to do,they could lose control and potentially die from the damage.It is fairly easy to tell who has black blood just from looking at them,their veins are darker,along when they blush it is gray rather then red.
Silver(upper class)- people with
silver blood are not as rare as the people with black.Their powers are quite powerful to as long as they have something of their element to channel it with,such as a bracelet or simply their surroundings.Like someone that could bend metals would be useless in a place made of purely wood.They are usually of high positioning and we'll paying jobs,or even nobles in most cases.They are usually rather pale and mystical looking.
Blue(middle class)- People with blue blood are only able to use their gift when in the presence of another blue,or another blood of power, person.They also must have something around them to channel their gift with,but most can control multiple elements. They are easy to identify due to the hue of their blood. They usually work as shop owners,teachers,and any other moderate paying job.
Orange(lower to middle class)- People of orange blood are hard to tell apart from the people of red unless you see their actual blood.The people of orange blood can channel their mind power to make other bloods gifts stronger,making them extremely useful as helpers for nobles,or royals. Oranges are slightly rarer then silver,and sometimes are treated as rare gems or pets.They will often work as royal guardsman, or simply be paid to follow a person around a strethen their abilites
Red(lower)- Red bloods are the lowest in society,doing manual labor and any undesired jobs. They are essentially powerless. The only advantage that they have is that all of their senses are heightened extremely,making them powerful soldiers if trained properly and good spies. They are sometimes even kept as slaves and sold to nobles like animals,or they willing work for the people of middle and upper class.
Royalty of Blood
The royal family has been strictly black blooded for hundreds of years,only accepting silvers to marry in if there is no other blacks. The Varyles rules with a iron fist, punishing anyone who double crosses them.
When it comes to marriage they hold competitions,seeing who of the great Noble houses is the strongest.
