My name is Sunnie, I'm twenty-six, married, and have been roleplaying for quite some time. Though I've taken breaks every now and then, my love for writing and improving my craft never falters. My biggest hobby is reading romance (although I am delving into different genres right now) so a lot of my ideas and plots give that romance book vibe. I adore slow-burn stories, building on heated glances and tension until our lovely characters finally snap! I want to be upfront that I am a slow replier, I work full-time with children so my energy is typically always at a zero. (I also suffer from a chronic illness!) I won't promise replies I can't give, so they come when they come. I'm aware that is incredibly vague sounding, but if you're willing to give me an ounce of patience I'll do my best not to disappoint.

- Capable of writing a dominant male. (Idc your IRL gender!)
- Averages at least 400+ words per post. I'm not very picky with post length, but 100-200 will not keep my attention.
- The ability to plot, provide your own ideas, and push the story forward. Passive roleplaying is not something I am a fan of.
- A great first message! First impressions mean a lot to me, messages that just 'Wanna RP?' will be ignored.
- Patience, I generally work better with those who are also slow at replying and flexible.
- At the very least 20+ in age, since it's what I'm most comfortable with.

Plot Ideas... β₯οΈ
At the moment, I am fairly interested in ideas featuring themes of forbidden romance with grief and whimsical creatures. Some ideas have a more fantasy leaning setting, while others are more modern with fantasy creatures featured. I'm such a sucker for romance stories, and would really love to delve into it with these stories. I want the pain of loving someone you're not supposed to, the guilt of finding love after losing love, the trials and trebulations of being in love! Chemistry between our characters is such a need for me, I crave it so bad I need the banter and thinly veiled affection for one another. I'm also very big on human x non-human pairings, however I would like to play the human as I am not particularly interested in playing non-human characters. (Except elves! Always happy to play an elf!) Below, you'll find a few ideas I am interested in there's not many but I will add more as I come up with them; if you have ideas of your own you think might spark my curiosity don't be afraid to send it over!
The island is desolate, the only thing being upkept was the lighthouse. The roaring ocean against its shores were consistent, and the rumors surrounding its waters kept even the most desperate from working there. They say people go to Sudrich Key to disappear, and that was exactly what she wanted to do.
Nobody was surprised when a widow applied for the job; being a lighthouse keeper at Sudrich Key for eight months out of the year. The path the island sat in the middle of was rough waters, misty sea that could easily lead to crashed ships and misdirection. The lighthouse was essential, even though a few keepers had gone missing every few years. Something about that island kept those that didnβt have a death wish, and let those that wanted to disappear come back to the mainland. She was determined to be different. She didnβt want to come back.
The first few weeks on that chilly island were peaceful, almost like a vacation if it werenβt for the upkeep of the bulb and lenses of the lighthouse. But she didnβt mind it too terribly, quickly adjusting to the solitary life she was already so familiar with. The only difference was that there was nobody around. She was truly alone.
Until she saw him. A figure in the sea, a man beyond the shore. It felt a little too early for her to be experiencing lighthouse madness, so she ignored it. And she ignored the calls from the sea, the dreams of loving hands and water-filled lungs. She ignored it to the best of her abilities until she awoke on the sandy shores of the beach one morning, sea-water soaking her from head to toe.
Suddenly it was too real, and the figure out at sea? It was no figure, it was no man. A monster some would describe, in all of his tentacles and dark eyes. But he was no monster to her. He was gentle and kind, lonely in the way she was lonely.
Finally, the two loneliest souls found that the Earth wasnβt so barren after all.

For Orcish kind, life used to be peaceful. They ruled with their brute strength, an iron fist over the lands surrounding them. Humans, weak and feeble, were at their mercy. Non-compliance was met with either a brutal murder or a life of slavery so cruel that death would be a mercy. Peaceful.
After a millennium of hiding, Elvish kind resurfaced and left the humans with something not even an orcβs strength could combat; magic. Almost like the flip of a coin, the rebellion that had been trying to free humans from Orc rule became stronger overnight. Wizardry, while taking a toll on the frail human body, was exactly what was needed to set the Orcβs back. Their once peaceful lives crumbled in an instant, unable to combat the raw magical power dripping from the hands of their once servants.
Over the years, humans bestowed with magic enslaved the Orc race for good. They werenβt to be trusted, and years of subjugation placed upon them was then flipped and placed onto the Orcs. Now? Orcs served as slaves. Giant beings that couldnβt possibly attack their owners, no thanks to the enchanted thick collars that hung around every neck of every Orc. Farm work, bodyguarding, sexual services; Orcs did it all due to the magic coursing through the very making of the collars. It inhibited them from any violent acts against their handlers, should they wish to be subject to an unimaginable pain zapped throughout their entire body.
These days it was common for Orcs to be sold as if they were cattle, but even cows were treated better. A human witch, illegal in her own right, finds herself procuring an orcish male for a hefty price. Although it is illegal for handlers to use their orcs for violent acts, she is in a bind and needs the protection. She strikes him a deal; freedom from that awful collar in exchange for protection against a magical organisation that is set on finding her.
A pact is made, her life for his, but can she truly release him from from the slavery that he's known his entire life?

This isn't mandatory, but I'm a huge sucker for face-claims. I am very flexible with the kind of face-claims we use, though I heavily lean towards artwork or realistic/models/actors. Personally, I'm a huge fan of visuals in general but we don't have to use face-claims if that's not something you're interested in. If you prefer to describe your character to a tee then we can absolutely go that route instead, just let me know what you prefer when you message me.
