His hair his light brown and usually kept at a length just above the ears. He likes to wear loose fitting shirts and whatever pants are around. He has a favorite pair of boots that he's had resoled endlessly. They are dark brown and they feel like his feet are wrapped in the warm embrace of a babies blanket.
Weapons: When Craig has to fight, he fights with his hands. He also carries a bolo for ensnaring fleeing enemies.
Background:
Craig was born during the time when Boldren was first getting started as a colony. His Father Corvel and his wife Megan were instrumental in organizing the logistics of getting the buildling materials they needed to expand the settlement, as on the habitable side of the island there were few trees, but plenty of fertile farmland. Looming on one horizon was the Great Mycelial Jungle, a damp and intense place with Mushrooms as large as 100ft tall with caps that spread just as wide at the top. It fungal canopy caused there to be an eerie fuschia aura to everything underneath as the sun tried to find its way through. Strange and dangerous creatures lurked their, and from a young age Craig had a bad feeling about it.
On the horizon opposite that the vast blue ocean was all the eye could see. Boldren was a port town and Craig always loved watching the ships come in with new wares and materials to keep the city going. When he was 8 playing on the beach at their estate, a young Orc boy washed up on shore. Craig rushed to his aid, pumping the water from his lungs with quick compressions of the chest, a trick he learned from a sailor on one of his secret excursions from the royal grounds. The boy spat the water up but was immediately defensive when faced with the human who saved him. However Craig didn't see an Orc in front of him, but a living person who deserved to live. He extended his hand out to the boy trying to seem as friendly as he could, and though one could point out he was stranded, the young Orc took that hand and put his trust in it. Craig would not disappoint him. He convinced his father to raise the boy as if he were one of the family. Corvel had a hard time saying no to the boy, after his mother died shortly after child birth. She got a bad infection, and the medicine to treat it simply hadn't been invented yet.
The boy was called Tunga, and the two of them grew up to become closer than most real brothers they would meet. Closer than Craigs actual brother, who left shortly after Tunga was adopted to lead the defense of the North against the Grenesh. Together they would get into all sorts of hijinks, often giving their father nothing but headaches. Since there were many in line to inherit the throne of Boskoria before Craig, he never really gave it much credence that he might ever take that seat. Instead he and Tunga started a bounty hunting service. In their travels Craig and Tunga would return to Tungas homeland and develop a trade relationship with the Orcs that they wouldn't attack anyship flying the Stonefist Flag, which was really only a boon to them.
Shortly after they would sneak into a Dornish Mesa and meet the son of what you might call a Dornish Noble if they had such a title in their culture. He was a rare Dorn in that he longed to see more of the world instead of laboring away at research cooped up in a giant strip mine. He would give them the secrets to what would become the source of most of their wealth. But doing so would end with him being banished, which was really a win win in his gem cut eyes.
Continuing on their adventures the trio would run into Craigs older brother before he made his way north to start the campaign to push the Grenesh back into their mountains.
Then making their way east they pushed into the Forest of the Baasti Witches. Craig was certain they weren't as bad as everyone said they were, and he was determined to prove it. The would eventually find a tribe of the witches, dancing in the night, their silky fur shining in the moonlight. They almost died that night when one of the witches spotted them, but thanks to Craigs boyish charms, and general ability to disarm people simply by being so accpeting of them, he managed to talk them out of frying them with lightning. They spent a short time getting to know the tribe, and satisfied that he was right about their people, he bid them a peaceful existence and went to leave. Vhaidra however was capitivated by his open-mindedness. Not romantically but philosophically. She had come to believe that possibly there was more to life than communing with the Forest.
It was time to go home, after a year of traveling and taking in the sites of the world, Craig had all the tools he needed to start his dream. The four of them returned to Boldren, and built the Distillery that Dorn had stollen the plans for. Originally meant to make pure ethanol, it was easy to change the mix to make a strong drinkable alcohol the likes the world had never seen. Craig instantly fell in love with it. He titled it Stonefists Private Stock, but it wasn't private at all. It became popular with the sailors visiting Bolden, and they took it with them back to the mainland where demand really took off. Eventually they made enough money to build a boat, which Dorn added a little Dornish ingenuity too. The Seafist had a steam powered engine that spun a propellor under the ship, making it the fastest ship on the planet, as the other Dorn had no interest in sea faring, the plans for the propellor were originally designed for an air ship, but Dorn didn't think it would really fly and figured it would be better to modify it for water. Craig hired a crew to pilot it, and they would keep the supply of private stock to the mainland flowing well enough for Craig and his friends to live easy if that was their wish.
But Craig was never one to idle.
