What's this? Feral making a request thread?! I know I know...thought I would never see this coming.
A pleasure to meet you all! I am known as either Feral or Stryker, whichever shall suit you the best, and I am on the hunt for a single male partner to help me scratch an itch for a plot I have been thinking about for a while now. But first and foremost, gotta get through the boring parts:
Rules and general guild lines:
-I love to write, and often pour my heart and soul into each and every post I make, so I ask for the same in turn. So with that said I must ask for no one liners and at least 2-3 paragraphs per post. I'm sorry if that seems a lot, but it becomes very hard when my 1000+ response is matched with a one liner that takes 5 minutes. All I want is the same amount of dedication I give in turn.
-Timing...I am a very busy person outside of this site as a full time vet and student in college. As such, my responses can vary depending on how busy my day gets and all I ask for is patience. I will always communicate on what is going on so all I ask for is the same :)
-Have fun and share some ideas and communicate! I love a partner who can share the same passion in forging a story as I, so actively participating and planning out how to move forward is something I always encourage and greatly admire in a partner. Don't be shy! This is something we are making together!
-Smut and story ratio: As an open minded writer, I'm never shy about things getting a little smut heavy at times...as long as it doesn't take over the story line. As a rule of thumb, 70/30 story to smut is what I usually go for, that way there is plenty of room for character/ relationship development so nothing feels random.
-OOC: I for one love communicating and forging a friendship with my partners, so never be afraid to chat or banter, I love getting to know you all as people. :)
Alright, with that out of the way, let's get to the idea:
With the world still young, and civilization at the earliest stages of their development, certain groups of mankind alike in their practices have come together to forge tribes. The wild has always been harsh and unforgiving, with humans always appearing to receive the blunt end of the stick in terms of physical capabilities...but where their minds are concerned, they have the advantage.
Working together in their newfound community to provide shelter, protection, and order amongst one another, the Tribe of Cougar's bay stands tall amongst them all.
A well rounded and abundant community ruled under and intelligent and ruthless chief, the tribe remains undefeated from every battle, invasion, and raid that had ever dared to reach their borders. The prey is plentiful, the soils fruitful, and for generations it appeared as if the grand tribe would prosper for eternity.
Under the Chief's rule, all the warriors and hunters of the tribe live under the codes and regulations of their elders, the law of the knives stating that every apprentice may never wield a weapon until the passing of their right of passage: to slay an elder warrior of the tribe bare handed.
Within the community, the daughter of the chief longs to rise through the ranks as a warrior of the tribe, training along side her mentor and dear friend. However, admiration and love threatens to bind the unlikely pair, a code that is forbidden among tribe relations. As such, the pair hold their tongues and do their best to keep everything at bay, but that doesn't stop the chief's keen eye from noticing the relation that is brewing.
As punishment for her misdeeds, during the sacred Trial of the Blades; a right of passage that all must warriors must take by defeating and killing an elder of the tribe with no weapons except their own wit, the daughter was forced to face her own.
However, times are changing, and across the great shores brewed a storm of unrecognizable power. Their ships emerged from the night filled with greed and malice, their war cries drawing out the screams of all who dared to crossed their paths. Mid battle, the village was raided and slaughters by the imposters of the sea and leaving nothing in their wake.
War is coming, and the kingdoms of the north will stop at nothing till the ocean runs red with the blood of their enemies.
In this storyline, the main characters within the Tribe of Cougars bay managed to survive the greatest blood shed the pair had ever witnessed...the slaughter of their own people. The daughter of the chief alongside one of the greatest war hero's the tribe has ever known, her mentor and dear friend, must survive together during the birth of a new world in the hopes that they can reclaim what had been so harshly taken from them.
