Bumping cause we need them males

I can make a male character if need be
That'd be great! Thanks.

Anyways, so I KNOW I'm like the 'leader' of this whole thing, but I honestly didn't think it'd get this far lmfao. So I'll need a couple of ideas on how to start. Also, just wanted to know if there's anything anyone wanted to include in the club itself or in the plot altogether.

Well, I'd like Sly to be the lead singer for the club. Since I remade him into a Singer/Songwriter and WWII vet. Also, he and Mitzy will have a really close, tragic romance. He gets lung cancer and becomes a heroin addict to deal with the severe pain of the disease itself. Least that's what Mittens and I worked out. She sings a couple of duets with him throughout his tenure there before cancer eventually overtakes him.

Bumping for them males

Name: Sylvester Alfonso DeLuca

Nicknames/Stage Names/ Street Names: "Sly" (only at the club), "(Alfonse are reserved for people especially close to him.)

Age (Include D.O.B): July 31st, 1924 ( By 1954 he is 34)

Personality: A suave, soulful individual Sylvester can reach the hearts of people. He is is wiser than he is book smart from his hard life. Sly doesn't fear the cancer eating him from within and some would say that it's because of the heroin he injects himself with to cope with the constant agony. He has a voice that can just bridge a gap between the heart and soul of a person. Many of his songs are deep, emotional, and transcend what is so normally heard in these times. His rich velvety, dulcet tones can truly be captivating.

As was mentioned he is a frequent user of heroin. Some say an addict. He also suffers from anxiety when alone and everything is too quiet. His days in Normandy; the chaos of battle have marred his psyche to the point he prefers acting out to remaining silent. Not a violent man by any measure, he is none the less a trained soldier of the 101st Airborne and was promoted to being a Ranger. Because of his valor and bravery in the face of imminent danger, he was awarded several medals and ribbons. These things he looks at with guilt and shame because he feels great remorse for the lives he took even if it was a war and he had a job to do, friends to protect--they were still human lives he helped, abetted in stealing life away.

That said, he doesn't look too kindly upon a man striking a woman as his mother was the bread maker. His father having been wounded in the first World War from an artillery shell. Like his father, he has severe PTSD. It is why he constantly smokes, drinks and talks. Because sitting still, especially in the quiet, his hands begin trembling uncontrollably. To avoid this he will grab his guitar and start singing, just to make a peaceful, soothing noise to ease his anxiety and keep his hands busy. He is neurotic, displaying moodiness, anxiety, worry, frustration, jealousy, and envy.

Height: 6'4

Weight: 195.lbs

Professional Occupation: Singer/ Song Writer/ Musician/ War Veteran

Bio:
Sly as friends and others call him was born Sylvester Alfonso DeLuca, a native to New York as he was born some time ago in Brooklyn near the Lower Bay, opposite of Jamaica Bay. His childhood was mired in violence; After his father returned from the Western Front he was never the same man he'd known growing up. He was now violent towards his mother, volatile; hed suffered greatly from the Great War; the terrible conditions in the stalemated trench warfare where rats fed on the dead, the muck and grime did little to offer as protection from the constant barraging of shells and the death rattle of machine gun fire. Whistles were set him off the worst. They would make him just shake, paralyzed in fear of going over the top through No Man's Land.

Quotes:

"Never let anyone waste your time twice."
"I have learned more on the streets--than in a classroom."
"You can get much further with a kind word and a gun, then a kind word alone."
"A friend should always overestimate your virtues; an enemy should always overestimate your faults."

Bumping cause I kinda want more players regardless of gender

Real life genders or RP genders? Just curious, am i? Why, yes, i am. Talking like this, am i? Slapping across face of mine, you are?

Both. But it doesn't really matter to me anymore, though I'm still looking for more male characters, yet open to female characters.

In the end, as long as your character can add to the plot and isn't a MAJOR cliché then everyone's welcome!

Ok. I'll make a decision on what gender MC shall be by the end of the week. =)

I have a character in mind that I used on a novel of mine, she is a bar singer I think she would fit very well in this rp. Are you still looking?

I mean, we have a lot of singers/musical entertainment currently, but I'm totally fine with it considering that a lot of them won't be performing.

So, you're in if you want babe

And to all those lurkers who stalk this thread: LOOKING FOR MORE CHARACTERs

But we seriously need more males, mainly because I want to keep it all balanced. So, if there's anyone who's comfortable with playing males... Marry me.

Uh...thaat went from 0 to creepy really fast. XD

Hey this seems super fun and I'd love to make up a guy or two to join if that's ok? It would have to wait until I'm home where I have a computer instead of mobile though, I hope that's ok!
