Rei stands beside James, removing the photos from the frames. Grabbing the second light, it clicks on-it's a standard flashlight!

The bright white light from the flashlight makes details in the UV light difficult to make out.

Two pictures have numbers written in sharpie on the back.

Christmas has a 0.
Halloween has a 2.

possible combinations:
232818 X (Tried by @Rimechapel )
223818 X (seems to be a five digit pin?!)
23818 X (assuming that the line was red herring)
22818 X (same rationale as 23818)
25818 X (Tried by @LarkAngel )
--- New clues---
Christmas has a 0
Halloween has a 2
-Recap-
bunny ears -> spring ("sleeping green")? - The First (2 children)
2008 -> new years countdown (?) ("before midnight chimes") - The Fifth (8 on digital display)
decorated tree -> christmas - "snowy fields", The Fourth (0 on back of photo)
pumpkin -> fall, "leaves of red and gold", The Third (2 on back of photo)
birthday -> process of elimination, The Second... A summer birthday?

2_208
(Still not sure about the number for the birthday though! 4? 5?)

Attention falls on your voice and they shine the flashlights in your direction.

Somewhere in a corner of the room, Sonder stands alone in the dark, dazed, but otherwise unharmed. Well, physically at least?

How'd she get over there?!

The umbrella ruffles harmlessly and the card and envelope flutter free from its grasp, falling onto the ground.

Possible combinations:
25208
24208

These are a bit of a stretch but...
Birthday candles (3&2) 32 or 23.
L Missed 4 birthdays. 32-4=28. 23-4=19
If there is a Zero Escape reference, it'd be digital roots
So:
32 => 3+2=5 (Digital Root = 5), same for 23 => 2+3
28 => 2+8=10 => 1+0 = 1
19 => 1+9=10 => 1+0 = 1

So! 1 has a possibility as well. Or does it?
---
Alternatively, the 32nd or 23rd birthday might be the last one L attended, before missing 4 of them in a row. So then we would add 4 instead...
32+4=36. 36 > 3+6 > digital root 9
23+4=27. 27 > 2+7 > digital root 9

(I have no idea what I'm doing lmao)

(( lmfao. I'm dead with the fucking scream ))

... yeah, no. There are five numbers in a set order, the math wouldn't make sense because there is no clue pointing towards having to do it.

The Birthday could only be 5.

Easter is almost certainly 2. If a number was mentioned, it only makes sense to use it.

Wait... the fucking dust shows bright under the UV light, the streak is dark. Why did I not think of this sooner...

[[@Jumbled I make my way to the keypad and try shining the UV light on it to see which keys have dust on them.]]

lmfao, James over here cutting in line. But that's FINE.

With the flashlight pointing over to the umbrella, the UV light is helpful again.

The UV light passes over the table and the frames, scattered and out of order, someone might catch a gleam of 2 numbers that shine in the purple light on top of glass panels.

But James moves too quickly to notice.

The keypad has been handled by so many people since you all arrived that whatever dust may have settled on unused keys is now wiped away.

There isn't enough wear and tear on the numbers to deduce the more frequently pressed buttons.
